I prefer the solo pro over the solo 3. The Solo Pro’s tone down the bass, but offer a nice and balanced sound. The anc isn’t as good as that of the Bose or sony, but they still do a good job at blocking out ambient noise. They are built well and have excellent connectivity. Comfort wise, the solo pros take some getting used to. The first couple weeks I wore them, my ears would getting sore after about 1 hour and 30 mins of wearing them. I’ve found that after a couple of months they break in and get way comfier. I can wear them for more than 5hrs without my ears hurting. Overall they’re a solid pair of headphones.

i have both and i think for casual use, the pros are better. but when it comes to working out in the weight room, i gotta go with the 3s. its louder and that extra bass really gets the pump going

You can prob still find them, and check the return’s counter for ppl that ended up returning some after changing their minds etc. I, for example, bought solos in two different colors and returned the ones I ended up liking less.
Active noise cancelling is one more feature that can be compromised which will make the headphones themselves intolerable if you don’t send them to get repaired. The build of the solo3 is more compact with less exposed hardware. For those reasons as well as the 40hr battery life, the solo3 is better. I’m sure they both charge quite quickly but I’ve never had a single problem with them.
This is true. Since we do work on headphones we have not seen that cause very many issues, but i can totally see that becoming more of an issue in the future.
I just bought the solo3 today for $99.discounted by 50% or $100. I already own the Powerbeats pro with wrap around ear buds. I’m happy with both and will use both of them a lot for different purposes.I have all Apple products so I like how seamlessly these all work.

I need your help, I have solo beats 2 I haven’t use for 4yr. When I tried to turn them on I noice they would not come on or charge. I was thinking maybe the battery went dead. I brought a new battery and install it. The beats do come on with a red light and a white light on each side of the earphones. They will not charge. I’ve tried everything I mean everything including buying a new charger.

Muddy bass isnt always better. For better bass the sol republic outrank them. People by beats because they look beautiful. But beautiful sometimes lacks substance like the solo3 do .😅

I got the Solo 3 for by my girlfriend. The beats Ep for outdoors. And the studio 3 for my video’s to edit. And the Beats Pro aswell.

can confirm...from Toronto, just got solo 3 in red for 110$ after tax literally so happy.. usually costs 250$CAD

I got the solo 3's and the bass isnt that heavy as you say they are. That must mean the solo pros have no bass lol.. is there a app or something ?

If you have a iPhone go to Settings, Music, EQ and then choose Bass if you’d like more bass!
There is a app you can download for Android but I don't know if it turns on the volume or works with the equalizer

You may have a bad 5 core wire. Also, have you tried a reset?
