Great videos Paul, thanks for giving me the feeling to get the gear out and go back to the beach after a couple of years off. Very relaxing and entertaining
Hi James thanks for the lovely positive comments and I don’t catch a lot generally but love doing it out in the wide openness of nature with fish a bonus. Just got back from a windy and wet trip to Selsey 7 anglers on the beach and no bites or fish. Then my fishing buddy Ross caught his best bass ever at 47cms 😎 cheers and take care Paul 👍👍🐠🐠
Thanks Gordon certainly made a change one to see a bite, two to catch something and three to beat Andy after so many years of trying. Godforsaken hour and off to work. Am trout fishing Friday and sea fishing at Hayling Sunday with Ross and I think the weather for a change is going to be reasonable cheers for watching and commenting much appreciated 👍👍🐠🐠
I like the way you had a bite whilst facing the camera, Time you turned around it stopped, then went again! Always love your videos Paul. Very relaxed and watchable.
Sod’s law and my wife took the mickey saying the fish knew I was looking away. Am off trout fishing on Friday and then Hayling on Sunday take care Paul 👍👍🐠😂
Hi Hunky Dory thanks for watching and commenting really appreciated. It certainly made a change to see a few bites and catch something although weather a tad challenging. Am of trout fishing Friday and then down to the coast at Hayling island in the westerlies with a couple of others but at least no rain 😂take care Paul
Hi Simon out trout fishing today with Lee a subscriber, gave him the rod, reel and the right fly and he is beating me three one. What is all that about 😂looking forward to Selsey see you there cheers Paul
Hi paul you ok mate. Another enjoyable watch . Pleases you bk catching. I was out yesterday out on the humber ,managed 5 large whiting . Its was very grim conditions rain showers every 20 mins and wind strait in face. But it was cozy in my set up. All the best buddy from grimsby.
Hi Carl good to hear from you and wife and I have been looking at houses in Hull with a view to moving up to the area around Easington when I retire and I spent some time up there in Army so have fond memories of the lovely areas around there. Cannot beat a beach buddy shelter in crap weather. Am out for more punishment tomorrow trout fishing with a subscriber and then down to sea on Sunday in the wind and showers but still love it. Take care from down south cheers fella 👍👍🐠🐠
Hi fella and yes still cannot believe I am the dogfish guru and beat Andy 😂😂although I suspect it will be a short lived victory ✌️ cheers for commenting it is really appreciated take care Paul 👍👍🐠🐠
Nice to see you catch some fish Paul, I knew you had it in ya! Lets hope that run of bad luck has been banished. Good man for getting out there in the crappy weather!
Hi londonviking and love the monicker finding it odd to have beaten Andy and as I said has only taken me twenty years to achieve, but I suspect it will be a short lived victory. But where would I have been without the good old dogfish and was very grateful to see some great bites for a change. Yep the weather was rubbish and still got soaked even wearing supposedly waterproof clothes 😂got home muddy and stinky but loved the location as never been there before cheers as ever for watching and commenting really appreciated take care Paul 👍👍🐠🐠
Stephen as ever thanks for watching and positive comments always appreciated and still cannot quite believe that I have finally beaten Andy after all those years. I expect it will be short lived lol 😂 take care and have a good week cheers fella 👍👍🐠🐠
Bute Paul Congratulations. I know they can be a pain .when your after other species sometimes .but there pretty little thing .and it a fish.Well done you .And Andy 👍🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐟
Hi Stephen yep I know the little old dogs can be a pain but when nothing else is around they give stinking bites. We were hoping for bass but as we know fishing can be a big challenge and totally contrary. Still I managed to actually win for a change but know it will be short lived. Never bet there before and went on advice of a subscriber as my local beaches were unfishable with the crazy weather. We are going back down that neck of the woods again when we cannot get to fish on a beach. Came home wet and Mobutu had a great day in good company cheers Paul
Good video again Paul. I fished the Swale & Sheppey myself last week & only had 2 Whiting, but I was fishing in the Swale at the Kingsferry end in very clear water. Hopefully arrange that meet up soon mate.
Hi Dave and would have liked a few whiting but can’t be too fussy as finally beat Andy after all those years 😂😂 haven’t forgotten a meet up now the nights are drawing in defo up for a visit down on your patch take care 👍🐠🐠🐠
Hi Christopher could not quite believe it as has been years since I beat him. Got home wet, muddy and stinking of dogfish sick. Never fished there before and took advice of a subscriber who lives on Sheppey. Cannot beat local knowledge, cheers for watching and commenting much appreciated take care Paul 👍👍🐠🐠
Yes a bit of competition does work but has only taken me twenty years to beat him 😂 Am still really impressed with your English it’s perfect take care Paul 👍👍🐠🐠
paul great video mate and about time you beat that andy bloke lol, nice few dogs you had there paul well done fellow , look after your self mate take care , regards from somerset
Hi Tony thanks for taking the time to watch and comment and finally I beat him after all those years and wish it had been a different mix of species. But a win is a win and he is great company to be out with enjoying a bit of fishing with. Cheers from a very wet south east 👍👍🐠🐠
Hi Derek sorry to hear about the boat trip and the weather was a tad challenging. This spot recommended by a subscriber of mine and worked out well with some brilliant bites and a few big dogfish. Came home wet and muddy but happy 😃 will let you know when I am down your neck of the woods cheers Paul
Great video mate and well done on the victory all you need to do now is beat rubber man Good call it was absolutely pants down here catch up with soon take care and have a great week 🎣🎣🎣 Smashing picture is that one Ross has done??
Hi Martin thanks for those kind words and rubber man in the sights for this Saturday at Hayling have messaged you with invite and location. Weather was pretty rubbish where we were but at least we could fish and finally got to beat Andy but I suspect short lived. Take care Paul 👍👍🐠🐠
Hi Leighton just saw your comment on my tube buddy app re my latest video and big thanks for watching. Went to reply and it disappeared so grabbing a few lines on previous thread which hopefully you will read. Much appreciated you taking the time to watch and comment cheers Paul
Hi Paul, Really liking your vids have watched a fair few now. Also showing the rigs you use are very helpful as I am sure others would agree. The red rods you are using in this vid are they the VERCELLI Enygma range ? I do like it when other guys explain to their viewers exactly what rod & reel they are using as this is very helpful also. All the best and keep up the great work you are doing Nigel
Hi Nigel really appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment on my videos. Have been fishing for many years and not an expert by any means but am I obsessed about all things fishing which my long gone uncle set me on the path of the love of it all in the many complexities baits weather venues etc. The rods are vercelli enygma range and like the colour but great budget rods and comfortably cast 8 oz leads on a windy rough day. Am heading out trout fishing tomorrow and then down to Selsey in challenging conditions on Saturday take care Paul
Hi Paul, Thank you for your quick reply. I thought they were vercelli brilliant rods for the money to be honest. I have a pair of Enygma Hammers 4.50m ( just my preference ) I find I can get further distance with my long cast fixed spool reels using Braid. Although I live in Southend but I prefer to fish the Tendering coast line I find the fish more plentiful and bigger but that may be because of fishing in the North Sea. Have a great couple of days fishing and hope you catch a few. Tight lines
@@nigelfelstead1277 Thanks Nigel for the words of support and love the rods although I use Multipliers on them but my fishing buddy Ross got me into continental rods.
