Tbf it feels strange when its not crowded. My best memories of theme parks when i was a kid was absolutely sprinting to each ride so we could get in line quick , and it was even better when you were a group or two behind and you see 10 groups come up behind you in line then sitting down still out of breath. Those were the best moments, trying to beat the crowd as a kid when the park was packed

I dont know if anyone else saw them but there are a couple animal welfare red flags such as a walrus in seemingly too warm/ not clean/large enough container. An owl coming out in broad daylight with multiple birds in the same enclosure tied down. Animals are not toys and high stress levels might be really common.
I went to this aquarium in Japan and if I remember correctly they also had a polar bear in really bad condition :( Japan's animal cafes/etc. Do not have the best rep
I was saying the walrus water looked so gross. And if you look at his body when he swims by on his back, it looks like lacerations up his tummy 😥😥
the walrus made me come to the comments. there’s no way that is just considered okay. we have a beloved walrus at my local zoo & while it has it’s issues as well (polar bears included, poor babies. it is so hard to have the proper conditions for them.) our walrus is always in clean water & his eyes have never looked like that.
Animal welfare is definitely one thing Japan could do better. It seems very widespread so there must be an across the board lack of knowledge about issues. I’m not sure how to help better educate people about it though…

Also Japan has animal rescue sites that aren't like aquariums just like America. (obviously not the place they are in now. This aquarium made me sad when I visited just like the ones in America lol) I am just saying this because the internet lately has had a "shit on Japan" kind of run this past year, just like a few years ago Japan could do no wrong, so if you've been seeing on the internet lately that animal welfare in general in Japan sucks I promise it's not anymore than other countries. I'm not saying it doesn't exist, the internet just either hates or loves Japan right now and doesn't treat it like a grey area like things ACTUALLY are. Japan has good and bad points like everywhere else. Nature is treated very well in Japan, the catch spay/neuter and release program is very good in Japan for cats. I've never run across a feral cat that didn't have that clipped ear meaning they were fixed, and people in general have a good respect for the wild. But that's not popular on the internet right now.

Yes they are. And they are even in the game series. It's one of the first things I've encountered back then in Wild World in the beginning of the game when "sea shells" and fruits were the only source of income.

I saw animal crossing and clicked. I wore my animal crossing shirt to universal studios osaka, and the staff were getting so excited when they saw my shirt. They kept saying 'dōbutsu no mori kawaii' to me.
I dont like zoos and aquariums and wont visit them anymore.

Hey Joey, I really like you and a lot of the content you produce but I dislike this one a lot. I dont want to be rude, I just want to explain to you why I think its disrespectful to the animals to make a Video about Zoos/Aquariums and even kind of advertise for other people to go there.
I dont know if you are aware but many animals (if not all) in these facilities suffer due to the lack of space, the inability to engage in natural behaviors, and the stress of captivity. For example dolphins, highly intelligent and social animals, suffer immensely in captivity. They are often kept in small tanks that don't allow for their natural social structures and behaviors. The stress of confinement can lead to self-harm, abnormal behaviors, and a significantly shortened lifespan compared to their wild counterparts. Sunfishs like in the video often rot alive in Aquariums because of Stress, Poor water quality and other factors. Those are just a few examples of marine animals suffering in captivity.
I know it was probably not your intention but I find it very cruel and disrespectful to visit Zoos or Aquariums as humans purely for your own enjoyment not being considerate at all about all the suffering those animals have to go through mentally and physically.
I understand your intention to highlight these beautiful creatures, but it's important to consider the ethical implications of supporting such establishments by making a Video about it saying how great it was and that your viewers should come visit too.
I hope you take this into consideration for future content.

@@reimari11 same. I discovered it helps me at work when I get to listen to it. And my students love the video game soundtracks that I use like this and other Nintendo music. Seems like they don't hear any teachers doing that and they work well when I use it so it's a win win.
I would add "Dont approach celebrities in public if they are with their kids". Allow them to just be themselves and focus on being parents. You are not more important than their kids, no matter what.
I live in the USA, and this is another reason why I would love to visit japan, to experience all event exhibits ❤

This was really awful to see. Animals in zoos are either bred or taken from their natural habitats to put on display in terrible conditions for human entertainment. Real animal lovers don't visit zoos and certainly don't eat their tortured carcasses and discretions. Remember that for you to have milk in your coffee, baby cows are discarded as waste products.

I love Sea Paradise! When I was little my family would visit my grandparents every summer. Sometimes when they were tired of us kids they would just give us some money and drop us off at the park for the day. It’s a great place to spend the day at with many activities and rides. There’s even a roller coaster that is partially over the ocean!

When I went to Japan by far the best experience was the Osaka Aquarium! Was absolutely beautiful and MASSIVE! We spent hours there and I would 100% go back!

Aki! I'm a body piercer, i saw you have a small irritation bump on your eyebrow piercing. I use a warm compress (i use a black tea bag) once a day and clean with sterile saline spray afterwards to shrink and eventually get rid of them, Id also recommend checking what type of metal quality you have and use titanium jewelry if you aren't already.

At 5:58 the creature is a Sand Dollar, an Echinoderm (same family as starfish, sea cucumbers and the more familiar sea urchins) and in the same Class as sea urchins. You could think of them as flat sea urchins without their signature spiky look.
