    Today I changed my disc and pads after watching this tutorial couple of times.
    I do not have a garage lift for the cars, I used an emergency jack.
    I do not have a pneumatic tools to take of the car tyre and I do not have a socket wrench - I used a classic ones 15 and 17.
    It took me a little bit more than an hour, and the funniest part is. Garage I used in the past it took them 2 hours and two mechanics to change the pads and brake disc.
    I also bought parts from your site, slow delivery, but hey ho! at least my car is fixed :D Thank you so much and definitely THUMBS UP! more videos like that please.

    Caliper slider/guide/lock pins for both the front and rear calipers:
    Tightening torque: 44 ± 5 N·m (32 ± 4 ft-lb)
    The mounting brackets for the caliper support to the backing plate:
    You need these when you replace the rotors.
    Front: 100 ± 10 N·m (74 ± 7 ft-lb)
    Rear: 60 ± 5 N·m (45 ± 3 ft-lb)
    Lug nuts:
    Tightening torque: 108 ± 4 N·m (80 ± 3 ft-lb)
    Be sure to lube the sliders with a proper lube for brakes.
    Very common cause of brake issues no matter the vehicle.

    Put a couple of Lugnuts temporarily on to hold your rotor while you put your caliper brackets on makes it easier

    You forgot to go to the top and open the caps for the return brake fluid that will squirt back.

    Can you tell us what the recommended torque measurements are for each of the bolts that are involved in this process - including the lug nuts?
    Also, is this process specific to a particular year model of the Outlander?

    Praca wykonana niedokładnie na akkord, powinno się bardzo dokładnie wyczyścić piastę z rdzy i posmarować delikatnie pastą miedzianą aby w przyszłości nie było problemu z wymianą tarczy hamulcowej. Prowadnice w zacisku hamulcowym powinny też być dokładnie wyczyszczone, a gdy mają wrzery to należy je wymienić na nowe.

    Do the brakes automatically adjust into place? Do they not require bleeding?

    I wouldn't have put the slide pins back in without a decent sand down. They were in an awful condition and there was no anti rattle rubber sleeve on the top one. should have been replaced really

    The only think i did not understand was what did the press tool do? He seemed to press one of the old pads into it on one side then removed it. Can anyone explain?

      He Pressed the piston back inside the caliper, they come further and further out the more the pads wear down. The old pad was just something to push against to prevent damage.

    I don't see professionalism here.
    - you didn't torque your bolts
    - you didn't apply anti-seize silicone paste on the areas where the rotor comes into contact with the wheel bearing knuckle.
    - you didn't use anti-seize thread locker on the bolts that go into the caliper
    - you didn't clean the rotors with brake cleaner
    - you didn't use anti-seize paste on the back of the brake pads

      you're wrong. plan and simple I'm only commenting to educate you as you are either young or inexperienced he did not open the hydraulic system. which is not required for doing a brake job.

    so no torque wrench used for any bolts not a good idea it can then snap unload and did the wheel nuts without it as well 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
