Greetings from a Tiny Island in Maine, USA I’m interested in this steel. I have a Sage 1 (uses a back lock) w/ Maxamet and enjoy the ergonomics of it and using it, but never push it as I have seen many instances of snapped blades. Hope you do a follow up in a few months after use.
@@DuhYaThink good point. The HRC is way higher, and that should translate to better edge retention, but there is no guarantee of that. Thanks for watching and commenting.
National Knives does it right all the time. 👍🏻
Nice. Looking forward to a full review on this baby.
@@W3OY-RAY I have to get to it ... Thanks for watching!
Nice! Looking forward to see how it does over time.🤙
@@MitchBollig I don't use a knife a ton, so I imagine I'll never have to sharpen this knife. I just hope I don't chip it lol
Great video. I would be interested in your full review of this steel and if you ever needed to sharpen it

@@appalachianadvrider great thanks
I wouldn’t say 1 point of edge retention is “by far” better than Maxamet , or 2 points higher than 15v, but I’m sure it’s great! Enjoy 😉
