I agree completely. There's no need for most of the crap that people carry. The simpler it is, the better. My EDC: Minimalist wallet with strong magnetic bill closure and seven individual card pockets. TRS Striker folding knife. A small, single AAA, single LED flashlight with pocket clip and tail switch. No focusers, extra functions or any other gimmicks. It turns on, and it turns off. Leatherman FUSE or WAVE, depends solely on which one I feel like picking up on any given day. Some type of lighter. Could be either a butane or plasma arc, again depending on nothing more than whichever one I feel like picking up. Casio DW-5600, AE-1200 or SGW-500, or if I'm feeling especially nostalgic, a Timex Q Illusion 64337 or Innovative Time Sports Master Q700BRN. Nothing expensive, because it doesn't need to be. Aside from the last two watches, nothing I'd be too particularly broken up about losing, and also aside from those two watches, everything is easily replaceable.
I disagree. At work, I open tons of boxes, make repairs, and do lots of slicing. My knife and multi-tool are vital parts of my EDC. Just because they’re not necessary for you, doesn’t mean everyone carries tools pointlessly.
I can't be the only one who saw "Adam Savage's Everyday Carry" and immediately thought holy crap this dude even has a CCW?? ...I'm not that surprised he doesn't though, one man can only be so cool. Plus its California afterall.

I carry a Glock 20 10mm inside the waistband (appendix position), two extra 15 round magazines, Thrunite T20 flashlight, my knife is an early 90's Spyderco Police stainless steel with non serrated edge, an ancient (no camera/non flip/standard keypad) Kyocera cellphone, my wallet with my state ID and concealed carry permit, and my keys (house key, 3/32 punch for taking my pistol/magazines apart if necessary). I carry this 7 days a week, all year long.
Sadly no CCW here in canuckistan.. despite it being legal (ATC) in our idiot laws the CFO's (morons in "charge") simply refuse to issue them as a rule. (our idiot laws are effectively may issue not shall issue)
Kindanyume .Kindanyume I hate that there are states that won't issue. You know, it's sad to think that certain states are like completely different countries it seems. California is a great example of things being ridiculously different as far as gun laws. Sometimes looking past whats in black and white and doing what you have to in order to protect yourself. I tell people all the time that it's easier to ask forgiveness than it is permission. I would rather be judged by 12, than carried by 6. Now don't take this the wrong way, I'm not telling you to break the law. You may not be allowed to carry a gun, but you are able.
Do you have training in using your knife? cause i notice a load of people don't realize that its more likely you'll hurt yourself if that's a close quarters defense say if you cant get your gun fast enough. Or is it just utility?
dragofera I don't carry anything that I intend to use for defense that I'm not competent with. However, I choose to carry a backup gun for such situations. If they try to get my primary, they aren't going to expect me to pull another one. I encourage everyone to take some type of training class. The concealed weapons qualifying courses aren't training. They are just a test to make sure your not going to be spraying bullets all over the place. The problem with people who carry a gun today, is their ego. They don't take courses that they aren't any good at, they take courses that they think they are already good at. A combat pistol class is a great start. The "Fighting Pistol" class at Tactical Response is probably one of the best handgun classes in the nation. They also offer "The Fight" which is a hands on close quarter combat/hand to hand type class. Check them out. EVERYONE should take Fighting Pistol. My whole point of all of this, is for people to practice what they aren't any good at. Prepare for every scenario possible that way you won't ever be caught flat footed.
dragofera HAHAHAAHAA more likely to hurt yourself than the psycho trying to kill you if you don't have special nerd training? HAHAHA quick you must alert 99.99% of the criminals who stabbed someone and tell them how lucky they were!
Adam is smart keeping a notebook and pen despite having a cell phone. I always have a few sheets of folded up paper in my car that I stuff in my pockets with a Zebra collapsible pen. You never know when your phone will fail you. You always assume a little bit of risk when you keep absolutely everything on your phone's notepad software.
5 years ago, this video inspired me to accept a challenge: buy a single Space Pen (Chrome), include it into my daily carry, and not lose it. 5 years later, I am still using my pen everyday and am even on my original ink cartridge. It's become one of my more favorite possessions (along with my Leatherman), as I'd love to carry it for another 5 years.
My best watch runs about $450, but I paid less than $100 for it. Sportsmans Guide had it in one of their catalogs and I needed a new watch, so I got it. Didn't find out until a few months later what it really cost. It's a Wenger(Swiss) stainless-steel stopwatch model, that also happens to be water-proof to 100m.
Lmao. Omega is my mom's "after I win the lottery" watch. Granted, that watch looks awesome, but I won't wear it because it's so distinctive. I love my Swatch watches too much to bother spending that much money! :)
same here, I was interested to see what kind of pistol he carried, but then I remembered not only is he in ca. but the worst part of the state, the San Francisco Bay area. I live a couple of hours north of there and getting a ccw the further north that you go in this state the easier it gets. sad but true. the only real problem getting a ccw in my county in ca. is the sheriff's department is overwhelmed with the volume of applications to process but for the most part it is a shall issue county which is good in the entire state.
Super nice edc. I carry similar items: a moleskine volant xs leather wallet with built in pen loop and fisher space pen, Streamlight flashlight, omega seamaster, iPhone 13, benchmade Bugout pocket knife… etc
And the fact that he travel via plane and through security doors and private film studios all the time. I doubt even a rich celebrity like him would want to lose a knife on the weekly to security. The airport just takes it from you and keeps it lol
which happens to be the 5th largest economy in the world and lowest homicide rate with largest immigration population. So according to the right-wing communism works perfectly fine lol
Mas M Actually California is the 6th largest and is number 1 out of every state when it comes to homicides and is number 5th place for most homicides per 100,000 people California. Also California has 4 of the top 10 cities that has the most homeless people and has one of the highest poverty levels in the U.S. so I'd argue it's not communist but just extremely populated
This is an amazing channel and series, i love that Adam Savage is embracing the TH-cam community. I am going to like every video i watch on this channel, this is tv quality stuff in the TH-cam form factor 10/10.
Adam basically described everything that i want from a flashlight and I kinda love him for that. I just want a small stick that has light coming from the other end that is easy to use. No need to make a simple tool like that so needlessly complicated god damnit :D
I think it's a proper minimalist EDC.. I do choose to carry a knife as well (BM 940-1) and choose a smaller wallet that I dont have to sit on and can keep in front pocket (Trayvax contour) Totally agree on flashlight! You will use it the most. And keeping with common batteries is a plus! And field notes and space pen is also a significant part of my EDC. My phone is Note 9 and watch is Citizen eco drive skyhawk blue angels
I have had the same REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT streamer on my keyring for over 25 years. I think that's a pretty cool coincidence to have with Adam. Easy to find feel and identify my keys at any time. Bought mine while attending my first and only OSHKOSH.
Im a gun nut myself but all these people hating Adam because there's no gun in his edc and calling him a libtard are so cringeworthy, it's unbelievable 🤦♂️ - it's a free country, let him to what he wants, you can do what you want! I like Adam's videos especially because there is no politics in it! Sometimes I don't know what I dislike more. People hating about guns because they don't know the facts, or people hating people who doesn't care about guns. LET EVERYBODY DO AS THEY LIKE! Geeze! 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
LordAidenWolf After some brief research, they are not readily available at most stores, and are not used in any flashlights I can find.... so why compare the two? The CR123 is a common battery in devices, and can be found at most major retail stores (Walmart, Gander Mountain, Target, etc.)
+Sup3r6f0ur You make a good argument as to availability. I own about six of the VTC4's and they work great, but I ordered them from RTDVapor, a site I never would of known of if it hadn't been for my vaping habit. They can be found at local vape shops...but you can't necessarily be sure of their authenticity if you go that route. Also, local vape shops seem to lack the same knowledge that the vaping and flashlight communities have...I keep hearing the VTC5 sold as a 30amp battery, when it's actually only rated at 20amps while the VTC4 is an actual 30 amp battery.
techwg slightly wider than the 2 cr123. I run rechargeable cr123s from olight in an Surefire e2d upgraded to an led from incandescent since one 18650 was two wide for the body
your e2d works with the olight cr123a's? i think my e2d wasnt as bright so i stopped running them. it would go into a weird medium mode and the beam looked funny. i think the 3.0v tenergy lifepo4's didnt even work in my e2d. my 16650 from orbtronic fits in the tube but maybe the voltage isnt high enough because its only 3.7 but it works perfectly fine in my surefire fury
I've had a Fisher Spacepen myself for a good 8 or more years! Got the silver version myself and it remains at home office. Sweet! Love that you shared your EDC! :)
I hate to say this cause Adam is awesome but that style of omega watch was not worn by James Bond in Casino Royale - he wore the non chronograph version
Half-expected to see a concealed carry pistol, but remembered he's in California. Many counties there still make it difficult even after the court ruling that struck down their prohibitive CCW laws.
Men's pockets (and all the space in them) are amazing. I guess to make up for the lack of pocket space I have a purse, which is even more amazing as far as all the emergency things I keep in it
@Locust Hypnosis I keep Tylenol, Advil, Pepto, Benedryl, Epi-pens, a tide stick, Neosporin and a couple Band-Aids, a flashlight, pads and tampons in my purse. Nothing crazy, just things for myself/my friends convenience should something be needed. It's nice to be the go-to person who's got stuff on them. I should definitely add a little multi tool though!
With how smart of a man he is I would think he would realize carrying some form of personal protection is the most important thing to carry everyday. I carry a g19 with a surefire xc1 in a incog iwb holster, benchmade griptilian, surefire defender with pocket clip, and an extra 15rd mag.
I have a large tag from when I was a volunteer fireman. It helps when I can't find my keys. I used to always carry a small Maglight on my belt while working. The lights in the freezer I had to go into, weren't very good. So I needed the extra light.
Even if Adam does have a concealed carry permit, don't you think he would NOT show it on youtube. After all, the whole point of it is to have a weapon (not necessarily a gun) hidden.
A concealed carry gun isn't made to be something you use everyday. People who carry hope they will never need to use it. However you can easily find videos of people whos lives are saved because they were carrying. The chances are small you will need a gun, but there is still a chance. You seem to be upset at people who like to be prepared. With that attitude I hope you also don't have smoke alarms, a fire extinguisher, air bags in your car, a spare tire in your car or something else that you won't use every day.
LostMilitia92 I dont carry around a smoke alarm fire extinguishers or air bags on my person.. And even if I they would not really create a life threatening danger to every human in my vicinity. But this is probably a question on different worldviews. I am a fan of Kants categorical imperative (basically the golden rule) And if I were true to that it would mean that I would be ok with everyone carrying a gun at all times. And personally I would not feel safer if everyone around me could easily kill a dozen people around them if they had a really bad day.
plainlake I didn't say you carried them on your person, I was making an example of different scenarios people prepare for. Also the act of carrying a gun does not "create a life threatening danger to every human in my vicinity". Have you looked up the statistic of people who have a concealed carry permit and how they are statistically some of the most law abiding people in the U.S.? How many examples can you give me of people with a concealed carry permit committing a crime? I too would love if everyone in the world followed the golden rule, that is simply not the world we live in.
LostMilitia92 I kind of questioned your claim here so putting the burden of proof on me is not ok. But your question ticked my interest enough for a quick search, here are 29 mass shootings done by people with a concealed carry permit since may 2007. www.vpc.org/fact_sht/ccwmassshootings.pdf , and apparently 659 humans have been killed in the US by concealed carry users. and 15 of those killed were law enforcement officers. This is not really convincing me here.
Don't waste your breath explaining Lostmilitia92. Some people think we live in a perfect world where the roses are red and violets are very blue and where evil also doesn't exist. To each his own. At least you and I get it. No need to explain to a sheep what a sheepdogs role is.
I'm surprised that so many of you carry a knife around. I only carry my phone, keys and a wallet. Is living in USA really that dangerous, that almost all of you have to carry a gun or atleast a knife? Please don't take this offensively, I'm just curious if you're living under such horrible everyday pressure. Btw, there are not too strict regulations about weapons in my country
It is not being paranoid or in fear it is about being prepared. You never know when something is going to happen. Around here the police take forever to get where I live so you are on your own for yourself and your family's protection. That is why I carry a pistol and a knife everywhere I go and so does my wife.
Justin Reynolds You're right, I wasn't thinking about the huge distances and response times that you have to put up with. I guess I'm kind of naive and I try not to think about the stuff that can happen to me/my family. The other thing is that the chance of armed robbery or anything that would require me to have a weapon is very low where I live. I guess it depends on circumstances that you live in. Thanks for reply. JB
Yeah and that right there is the reason I carry any time I am out of my bed. Even in my house and that is because alot of things can happen in the time it takes to find a phone and dial 911.
Justin Reynolds OK, sure thing. I just wanted to know the reason, I'm not your typical internet troll that just wanted to make you angry and start a flame war. Thanks for making it clear for me.
I did not mean that in any way. People are usually curious as to why I carry and when I do I have gotten this very question asked numerous times. Take care.
i have a g17 as well, and its just to long to appenndix carry it. i cant bend over or sit in my truck with it like that. i carry a sig sp2022 on in my waist band on my back
Emerson or ZT blade, phone, streamlight pro-tac 2L and a glock 43 or 19 in a stealthgear holster. You always gotta have a good knife, man. They're so useful and so easy to carry.
Patrick Lundström - For being a redundant, outdated, unnecessarily large and heavy item, I would consider it expensive. I know people still like to wear them, but as long as you have a cell phone, I see no need to strap one to my wrist. Pretty much the only exception for me would be for checking the time at meetings easily without people thinking I'm doing "social" stuff on my phone.
eli dennison if you consider the literal meaning of Everyday Carrie, no, it's not confusing. people asked him so much videos of his EDC expecting him to show a nice gun or maybe a combat knife...
eli dennison but most EDC videos, i guarantee most people dont carry that much tacticool crap. i wear cargo trousers everday. i carry two cans of dip, a wallet, keys, a automatic Microtech OTF knife and a phone. thats it. haha. when im in civilian attire, i just add a revolver and a cylinder carrier to the belt.
The most important thing I learned at shooting school is to always carry a flashlight. Fenix makes some very simple and robust lights with proud tail caps (they are rubber but I have carried them for years in very harsh conditions and have yet to break one).

Would you look at doing this again, sorry if I’ve missed it - all the best
"gonna hide those [keys]" *camera zooms in on them a couple times*
4 years later, still think this video is very cool. Wishing they did an updated version of this.

still cool
Cool? Wtf

im convinced 98% of the people were here looking to see what gun he carries
Kyle Gardner kinda disappointed it isnt...

Kyle Gardner dope last name Kyle
He forgot the single most important thing, right in front of his face.
His glasses.
So much a part of daily life, and still forgotten.
I bring 2 glasses the ones on my face and a pair of prescription sunglasses, with a nice hard case
For many of us, our glasses just become an extension of our person rather than an item we carry. I suspect this is the case here.
TLDR, space pen, field notes, basic flashlight. TH-cam comments unreadable.

I don't under stand how everything has to have a bottle opener designed into it . I don't get it and it ruins the look of the product

me too.
If I remember adam said he's got an ffl but only uses it for prop replicas and demills or at least removes all firing pins
I was kinda expecting a lc9s, shield or glock 43......

Richbirdhunter 2016 an AR-15 is the only EDC

that's for sure. u can't even walk into an amusement park, air show or grocery store with a small Keychain knife in this state.
+sirroxalot EDC makes me think of knives.
Super nice edc. I carry similar items: a moleskine volant xs leather wallet with built in pen loop and fisher space pen, Streamlight flashlight, omega seamaster, iPhone 13, benchmade Bugout pocket knife… etc
A very California approved EDC.
And the fact that he travel via plane and through security doors and private film studios all the time. I doubt even a rich celebrity like him would want to lose a knife on the weekly to security. The airport just takes it from you and keeps it lol
Zain Shaikh they actually offer to let you mail it back to your house as long as you tell them you forgot to leave your knife at home.
cjedd2000
that's spelled commiefornia .
which happens to be the 5th largest economy in the world and lowest homicide rate with largest immigration population.
How have you not made the perfect little flashlight for yourself? It wouldn't exactly be the craziest thing you've made...
You guys forget your glasses. You wear them so much, you forget that they are your most critical EDC.
Adam basically described everything that i want from a flashlight and I kinda love him for that. I just want a small stick that has light coming from the other end that is easy to use. No need to make a simple tool like that so needlessly complicated god damnit :D
I love my Omega 2210.50! Such an amazing watch!
I think it's a proper minimalist EDC.. I do choose to carry a knife as well (BM 940-1) and choose a smaller wallet that I dont have to sit on and can keep in front pocket (Trayvax contour)
Totally agree on flashlight! You will use it the most. And keeping with common batteries is a plus! And field notes and space pen is also a significant part of my EDC.
My phone is Note 9 and watch is Citizen eco drive skyhawk blue angels
Lmao the Pulp Fiction reference in the beginning. Love him!
+Ness O. That was subtly awesome.
I have had the same REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT streamer on my keyring for over 25 years. I think that's a pretty cool coincidence to have with Adam. Easy to find feel and identify my keys at any time. Bought mine while attending my first and only OSHKOSH.
wonder where his picture of Jamie is? maybe on his phone.
On his bedroom ceiling.
Adam: "going to hide the keys on camera so no one makes a copy of them."
*camera man gets a different angle so we can see the keys*
after 9 years, this video still awesome
Lmaooo I legit thought this vid was gonna show Adams edc glock or something 😂😂
"And here's my 45acp. I like to think it's good for driving nails when I can't find a hammer, multiporpose I'd say."
Geeze! 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
I agree with his flashlight choices.
I've never heard every day carry applied to anything but firearms.
Every day carry means what you carry every day. Nothing more, unless the context is specific.
***** yeah, the point is, not everyone is a gun nut like you. to a 'knife nut' like me edc just means every day carry
do a youtube search for "everyday carry" or "edc", I can guarantee you 99% of the videos have to do with fire arms
+TheMrbilly113 Never assume, it only makes an Ass of u and me...
+Shorjok Exactly, but gun idiots will never agree with us.
I would never think to copy keys from photos, thanks Adam!
It's crazy how different clones can be from their original.
cr123 is by far the best flashlight battery avalible.... however lack of avalability at small stores is an issue...
How does it compare to a good VTC4?
Never seen one before, by the sounds of it, it's one of those funky batteries used in Sony cameras?
LordAidenWolf After some brief research, they are not readily available at most stores, and are not used in any flashlights I can find.... so why compare the two? The CR123 is a common battery in devices, and can be found at most major retail stores (Walmart, Gander Mountain, Target, etc.)
+Sup3r6f0ur its an 18650 pretty common battery actually. I have about 50 of them on my desk of various brands.
Since watching this video I always check under my hotel room table to see if that flashlight is there.
What I carried when I worked, was a flashlight, a pen, a pencil, a marker, and a knife. My boss called it my utility belt. 🤣
CR123 I love, but I love 18650 rechargeables even more. They are the size of two CR123.
techwg slightly wider than the 2 cr123. I run rechargeable cr123s from olight in an Surefire e2d upgraded to an led from incandescent since one 18650 was two wide for the body
techwg as someone who capes. Extra Samsung 25r 18650's have been part of my etc for close to two years
your e2d works with the olight cr123a's? i think my e2d wasnt as bright so i stopped running them. it would go into a weird medium mode and the beam looked funny.
i think the 3.0v tenergy lifepo4's didnt even work in my e2d.
my 16650 from orbtronic fits in the tube but maybe the voltage isnt high enough because its only 3.7 but it works perfectly fine in my surefire fury
I carry a flashlight every day. 18650's are fine. TSA approved.Small Swiss army knife...NO.I carry the world's thinnest wallet.
Omega says you're wrong....
Half-expected to see a concealed carry pistol, but remembered he's in California. Many counties there still make it difficult even after the court ruling that struck down their prohibitive CCW laws.
Commifornia.
TheDcac are you calling christian, manual laboring, gun lovers stupid? I find that offensive,
TheDcac You're rude just like all the other atheist out there.
skeeter sorenson .
TheDcac Catwithanm16 To be fair, Adam isn't rude.
Adam! We have the same red keychain! I also love having it on my keys. Super accessible for a quick grab. That made my day.
I came here thinking I would see what gun Adam carries and then I remembered he lives in San Francisco.
This has to be the most boring EDC video I’ve ever watched 😂
I read 'Everyday Curry' and honestly I'm disappointed.
Kenneth Meredith im opening of a restaurant and naming it everyday curry
This channel has changed alot
He needs a ledlenser p3afsp that is the exact flashlight he is describing. I have had one for many years.
nutnfancy would not approve
Daniel Bateman HAHA! TRUE!
I know his real name
Imagine the gear check video 😂
Daniel Bateman
He doesn't pass the gear check .
Yeah nutnfancy would flame this NERD
I thought that looked like a Remove Before Flight tag! I've got one too! :D
That Omega Seamaster...
I could never wear 3k+ on my wrist, Id always have that hand in a pocket to keep it safe
Clearly not a watch guy :P
+smoky bandaid it's more like 8K to 10k it's a planet ocean chronograph
Awesome wrist watch, but I prefer a Railmaster or Speedy.
Neil Barrett. More than that, he is a movie prop collector. When he said from Casino Royale I think he means it is the one from the movie.
What brand/make cell phone case is that anyhow? I'm curious and don't even have an IPhone. Maybe they make those for Androids as well.
SCYTHE2525: check out their full line of cases here, www.elementcase.com/
i see so many edc vid this is one of the best
Not "extended" :( EDC = Every Day Carry
Great EDC set!!! awesome!
just a small pocket knife, even a Small Swiss knife would have made it perfect!!!
Is it just me being overanalytical after few days of editing a video, or at 1:00 Video Editor forgot to put color correction on :D?
As a good CCW holder Adam does not show his protection.
20KW lasers in his glasses.
I would believe that
no concealed carry permit what a shame : (
it would be useless in California, you cant have the gun loaded while on you.
Even if Adam does have a concealed carry permit, don't you think he would NOT show it on youtube. After all, the whole point of it is to have a weapon (not necessarily a gun) hidden.
David Pennington He lives in San Francisco, so its safe to say he doesn't have a permit.
I've got the same watch, but never get to use it because I am not really a watch guy. Nice to see one really used as daily driver.
I wear my watch on my belt.Flash light on the other side near Key Bak.
all i gathered from this video is... Damn TSA!
A ruger lcp would be perfect for everyday carry
Darren Stanley lc9s pro is a nice one
Adam I always enjoy watching you and I have learned a lot. Wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
"...everything goes in the same place every single day."
👏👏👏
So many with a gun/security blanket that come to this video thinking that Adam Savage have to use a gun in everyday life.
LostMilitia92
I kind of questioned your claim here so putting the burden of proof on me is not ok.
6 years and Adam was channeling my thoughts on flashlights!
Justin Reynolds
OK, sure thing. I just wanted to know the reason, I'm not your typical internet troll that just wanted to make you angry and start a flame war. Thanks for making it clear for me.
I did not mean that in any way. People are usually curious as to why I carry and when I do I have gotten this very question asked numerous times. Take care.
My EDC is a Glock 17, carrying appendix. #ThePewPewLife
I wish I could appendix carry, but it just doesn't work for me... (too fat lol)
i have a g17 as well, and its just to long to appenndix carry it. i cant bend over or sit in my truck with it like that. i carry a sig sp2022 on in my waist band on my back
Ok, Colin...
I'm lucky enough to live in a country where we don't need to carry firearms. We don't need those things on our streets.
Liofa Nice bait
Def need some kinda slicer. Always something that needs to be sliced.
Great vid from a gentleman I watched back in the day. Cheers all!
No Ky-jelly, butt plugs, or, receipts from bath houses? I guess I underestimated you, sir
He owns a fiat which stands for "fix it again tony"
The name is fiat it doesn't stand for anything
face palm
lachie2002 why the "facepalm"?
Zwan ziger nvm
Or 'fix it again tomorrow'
I felt better when Adam said he's given several Leatherman tools to the TSA. This happened to me the last time I traveled. I forgot it was in my bag.
its too easy to mod the blades out of one...or doesnt it still matter
I wish I was an engineer like him
It's gonna take a hell of a lot more than wishing to become an engineer, kid. Work hard and you'll get there eventually.
Yoda7224 too old now. I just like watching others with talent. I do have ideas floating around my brain but no space/tools to make anything.
Go out and make them. It's okay not to know how or what to do. Just try and you'll come up with solutions. Bam you're an engineer.
Him- "I break every flashlight"
Me- "Intriguing"
Also me- "i hope he said flashlight, not fleshlight"
Emerson or ZT blade, phone, streamlight pro-tac 2L and a glock 43 or 19 in a stealthgear holster.
You always gotta have a good knife, man. They're so useful and so easy to carry.
Wow. Don't mess with him on the street: He might photograph you and take notes.
Why would anyone want to mess with anyone else on the street? You sound kind of paranoid about your safety. Scared or afraid.
simple minds lol
No no no, I'm not paranoid at all about my safety, you can protect yourself how you'd like and I'll protect myself how I'd like to
+Ivan Stroganov You rather sound pompous. Drop the Mr Belvedere lingo.
+Ivan Stroganov Just because he wants to protecy himself has nothing to do with him WANTING to shoot someone. Better be safe than sorry.
I saw the title, "Adam Savage's EDC," and I was really hoping he was a fellow CCW person. Oh well, I guess nobody's perfect. ;)
adam should do a one day build of glasses with integrated tools hidden in the frame. a multi tool glasses.
A bit disappointed that a man with his hobbies carries no leatherman, and simply remembers to remove it before flying and toss it in a checked bag.
That is one expensive watch!
Not that freakishly expensive...
omega seamaster
Patrick Lundström
- For being a redundant, outdated, unnecessarily large and heavy item, I would consider it expensive. I know people still like to wear them, but as long as you have a cell phone, I see no need to strap one to my wrist. Pretty much the only exception for me would be for checking the time at meetings easily without people thinking I'm doing "social" stuff on my phone.
***** They are AWESOME! But otherwise, I agree... ;)
***** and knowing a quarts watch is cheaper and more accute makes it more "expensive"
Totally agree about the flashlight. On and off. Done. No modes, thank you!
confusing title indeed.
eli dennison if you consider the literal meaning of Everyday Carrie, no, it's not confusing. people asked him so much videos of his EDC expecting him to show a nice gun or maybe a combat knife...
eli dennison how is it confusing?
EDC in the gun world is known as what gun/flashlight/knife people carry. few people use the term EDC outside of the gun world.
eli dennison but most EDC videos, i guarantee most people dont carry that much tacticool crap. i wear cargo trousers everday. i carry two cans of dip, a wallet, keys, a automatic Microtech OTF knife and a phone. thats it. haha. when im in civilian attire, i just add a revolver and a cylinder carrier to the belt.
EDC is the Electric Daisy Carnival I was confused to
my everyday carry is a S&W Shield 9MM
***** sorry, I didn't get that
Mine is a Rugar LCP.
XD .40 subcompact, spare mag, knife, watch, phone, wallet, paracord bracelet, and keys.
+Johnny Pea i also carry a shield (or ppq depending on the day. Add a knife if you dont have one awesome tool.
+Johnny Pea I was waiting for him to pull a pistol out, I think EDC, I think knives and pistols, who the hell cares about his wallet?
The most important thing I learned at shooting school is to always carry a flashlight. Fenix makes some very simple and robust lights with proud tail caps (they are rubber but I have carried them for years in very harsh conditions and have yet to break one).
all the americans wondering where he keeps a gun.. lol.
Does American always bring guns everywhere he/she goes? I thought it was only a meme lol.
Notalentgeek YES. Your jealous is showing.
KingEightBall Huh? Why would I jealous lol? My country is safer, no need gun.
KingEightBall Believe me we are not jealous. In my country I can walk outside without needing a gun lol.
Devin Shillington What country are you in?
