I run many many strength cycles but making always little progress but really want a big boost again big fan from Switzerland keep up the great work
Hey kev, I train people a little differently to most strongman coaches, mainly focus on building all around strength Athletes, so if you’re looking for something new and fun thst will give good results give it a try, I recommend most people start with our pre built restoration phase, and if you’re not interested in having a full strongman program we have an aerobic accumulation phase in there you can run right after restoration or build your own plan, I’m releasing a new speed & power phase next week to!

Thanks for this video! Very clear and open about everything. I have one question about your peak, did you only log press once per week? If yes, do you have a reason for that? Personally I see better progress when I do log twice a week (DUP style, 1 heavy 1 light session), so I wonder what your experience is with higher frequency log pressing
Higher frequency was used in the previous phase to build skill, this peaking block I did log twice however the 2nd session was the same throughout the whole block, I just did 90kg for around 10-15 sets of 1-3 reps, it was just practise work / position work to make sure my line etc was correct
Yeah, think of peds as an enhancer of progress, so these cycles work naturally just fine to! Some people may say this is not true and you need extra deloads, however, this is not true and is actually the opposite, peds users tend to require more deloads due to higher neural excitement 24/7
Why didn’t you bench more than one day a week similar to your squat 20rm traning cycle where you squat 20rm 2x a week then 15 2x, then 10 2x, etc… Too hard to recover with the heavy log as well?
@@michaeleerdmans3500 to note I did have a second bench & log session throughout, but it wasn’t anything special or planned, I just did light flow / practise log and a little bit of speed bench, nothing mad, weights never really progressed I just did practise work!
Hi mate, I’m looking at coming across to you for coaching after my comp in August as I will be having a long off season before competing in the big scene next year. One of my stupid questions now obviously people like ourselves are open to using steroids when competing but these top level competitors on the Britain’s and worlds stage who clearly take steroids it states on sbd official strongman etc the athletes are all pet tested and performance enhancing drugs will not be tolerated. I can’t imagine any of these guys on the high level are natural that’s just impossible but that last thing I want to do and I’m sure many others think the same is to be disqualified like Pudzianowski in 2004 what do you think about this?
I have loads of videos about steroids on my page mste, give them a watch. Every pro strongman uses PEDS bar a select few. It’s easier to name the naturals over the enhanced 🙌

That would of only been a 6 week cycle, this is a different training block to that one with similar principles just extended 👌
