I absolutely love the psychology behind this! Most people think bigger is stronger. People who work out know how hard it is to get bigger. So when a person poses no threat and is half the size but mindlessly picks up their weights, it triggers a serious evaluation of the situation(sometimes themselves too). The best are the people who immediately express that Anatoly shouldn't try lifting the weights!😂

To be fair, I think they have good intentions when trying to stop him from lifting things. He often acts inexperienced and I'm sure they don't want him to get hurt. Most of the people seem really nice.

Most of the time the shot isn't good enough to get a very close reaction and many people's reactions range from confused to select, to concern and laughter. I think it is pretty clear they're not actors, especially considering so many people are clout chasers you would expect a larger reaction from people if they knew they were being filmed.

Here's an idea for a future video that I think will be great: You should pick up weights that are unused, and shock the people around you, then go and tell them it's just a prank, using fake weights. Then, you can walk away, and watch them after try to pick up the weights and realize they are NOT fake LOL

@@teamspeak9374 It makes me feel like I'm being judged by everyone if I'm working out by myself, I'm afraid of bad form, and I'm afraid of injuries. I've had plenty of sports injuries over the years (skiing accidents, skydiving landed too hard, bicycling fall, etc.) so I need to take it easy ;)
