What egos? Everyone shown here is really cool, and they're not fronting on him, they're concerned for his safety because you always get newbies in the gym who bite off more than they can chew and end up hurting themselves.

He is Olympic champion.
There are about 100 people in his weight class in the world who can lift more than he can in sumo. Which seems like a lot but it's really not.
He does drink Mr muscles, the special toilet water.

you only see cherry picked content, you are aware of that, right? this doesnt reflect reality while he was filming all this, at all. I am pretty sure there were some negative reactions to this. because there are a lot of people that dont like to get pranked.
And yet when he walks away they look like they are questioning all of their life's choices

Its crazy how strong he is. You wouldn't think it seeing him next to these huge guys. I love how he humbles them.
Biggers muscles doesn't always mean you are stronger.
Training without steroids and without overdosing on protein. Most of the big dudes who say they dont juice...They HAVE juiced...They just arent steady juicing. Anatoly is pure conditioning. Dudes who do a couple cycles...maybe every 5 years...Theyll never admit they did it. Thats kind of the norm.

Love these videos. As a beginner myself, I can see the discomfort in these guys faces is their worry he’s gonna hurt himself. When they see he’s a pro, they can enjoy watching him do the impossible.

@@yoma2977 as someone who also goes to the gym, this is pretty accurate. Most gym bros aren't meatheads, and I lift for boxing/mma, not bodybuilding or to get beefed up.

As a former competitive Bodybuilder and Powerlifter, I SO love these videos! Brings me back to the days I could astonish people with my strength and physique. Still looking good at 70 years old, but the glory days are behind me. It's OK.
You don't even need to say 'it's ok" because who gets to say they were once very strong and got to reach 70. God bless you, you're not that old and may God bless you with many more healthy years❤

struggling to lift with two hands and then a cleaner comes along and picks it up with one hand and cleans underneath it and puts it back down , the look on peoples faces are priceless . I hope Anatoly keeps deflating ego's everywhere he is fucking good at it

What I love about Anatoly's videos is how he interacts with everyone in the kindest most disarming, self deprecating ways.
It really does highlight how genuinely nice most people are in the gym. I have been working out for coming up on 2 years and I have never seen life imitate a crappy TikTok gym video.

That's so true all over the world. I used to go a lot to the gym and no matter how mean looking mountain of muscles the guy is he's always a total teddy bear especially to women and rookies. Those guys are always so helpful and they would usually give a shirt off their back just to make you smile and I mean to make a guy smile. For a girl they would give their pants they're wearing 😅 😉

I love the way he frightens this mountains, because they know if you injure your muscles with too much weight this could make you paralyse for weeks and previous training is blocked for certain time period. At the end Anatoly is the perfect motivator.

In the 70's I worked out in a gym and there was a guy like this who was really strong for his size. It was mind blowing how strong he was...

I have met two met people like that. One was about 75kg and played for our Rugby club. He was a farmers son and farming is hard work. After the game he then used to arm wrestle and slam down guys over 100kg from the other team. We were wise enough not to bother. To top that, he was the fastest drinker in the world and beat them all at downing a pint.. I’m not joking, he literally was the fastest drinker in the world.. After the salmonella egg issue they were trying to market eggs again and the world champion raw egg drinker was doing events to promote them. Ady, turned up and drank 5 pints of raw eggs in about 10 seconds and beat the guys record. By then, apparently, they had taken gorging records out of the Guinness Book of Records and so he never made it in there. I wasn’t there to witness it but it did happen, many of my team mates were there. He told me that he immediately threw up in the toilets and “couldn’t shit for a week!” Amazing to see his strength. The drinks racing (pints, after the game) involved standing on a chair, downing your pint and turning the empty glass upside on your head to prove you’d done it all and then step of the chair. Ady did the whole thing in one smooth motion. When someone said go, he immediately stepped off of his chair and the pint glass was empty on top of his head by the time gravity had done its bit and his foot hit the floor. The other guy is a 60-70kg climber. His trick was walking around the centrally positioned octagonal bar in the “Umbrella Bar” in Les Deux Alpes, that had a brass rail top and bottom, holding on using just one finger on each hand and the 8th side was the the hatch for the staff to get behind the bar and it was virtually full stretch for him (obviously no rails) and he just seemed to float across from one side to the other. Amazing to see. I’m around 20kg heavier and he slammed my arm down in arm wrestle, like he was competing with a gentle breeze.

Yea it’s really cool watching them be scared of him hurting himself and actually be worried for his health 😂 people see big and sometimes think scary but these guys are gentle giants and it’s cool to see

One thing I've noticed from watching a few videos. The people in the gym are extremely kind, warm and welcoming. No one seems to have a problem with Anatoly, if anything, they're excited when he succeeds! It's a really good look for gym culture. They look really inclusive
