I saw someone attempt breaking the sound barrier using a dozen lego motors made to spin faster by gearing, if you do the gearing tactic with THIS motor, i think it could work
FYI gloves (and other articles of clothing) can actually be a safety issue with rotary stuff. They can get snagged and pulled in in an instant much like that plastic was, except your hand is in there. The result is really nasty crushing and mangling. It's often safer overall to just accept the risk of getting cut. Now whether the stuff you're doing is powerful enough to really cause problems I can't personally say, but it's something to be aware of.
No. When lowering the blade, the blade needs to fight more friction after cutting the material. The blade should be mounted a little higher, to reduce friction between the blade and the material already cut.
In my mind the Lego figure on the controls should be a bond villain, and James bond Lego character should be heading towards the blades of the saw and some sinister background music 😂
@@owensbricktesthey so apparently there’s a store called green gecko or something and they sell aluminium beams with ball bearings and metal gears and axles

a reminder that it's cruel to declaw your saw, as it can't defend itself or hunt in the wild
😂
And don’t remove the wires, it can’t power that way, almost killing it
also do not debark your saw, as it would suffer not having a way to communicate.
4:15 no that is 😩
0:17 ohhh that sound is the best😩
R.I.P. blade 2024-2024
😂
Beru😂😂😂😂
R.I.P.saw
You now have a one-of-a-kind custom saw piece.
Next: Try making new stronger blades with 2 or 3 layers of folded paper or aluminium foil to see what it can cut!
Also try cutting vegetables like carrots, would be cool to see what happens!
use a dremel ultra saw blade
you need steel, aluminium foil would be be shreaded
This saw would be very useful for cutting balsa wood for building model airplanes.
umm aren't u supposed to use the saw the other way why are u using it backwards?
No it’s not backwards because if you had it the other way the board or what ever your cutting will probably go uppppp
No, that's the way saws are meant to be used. They kinda work by taking lots of little scoops of the material.

Love your vids, keep up the great content 😄
Next time try running some water on the blade while it cuts thte wood to see if you can keep from melting it.
0:53 reminds me of the dentist SAWING MY TOOTH
try test this with actual lego motors, use gear ratios to help.
Someone did that with 20+ lego motors.
@@owensbricktest imma try find the vid
Yeah I saw that one once
I think the blade was too high, for best results, place the axle at the height of the table.

Microplastics are gunna take over
Make a power drill !
it was so fast that the cardboard was mashed potatos
can you make an lego vacuum i4 engine whit tutorial like this + all parts needed
The shape of the Lego Sawblade is VERY BAD for actually cutting things, if it was shaped like an actual Sawvlade it would cut stuff way better.
Idea add a faster gear ratio and the speed controller can to 6s
keep up the good work!
Bruh my Gatling gun has more rate of fire then your Lego gears could ever have (no offense)
yoo cool video you can use it to defend your self 👍👍
The blade is on backwards, it would work better if you flipped it around

i have the EXACT same motor, lipo and speed controller in my traxxas slash😂😂
Haha it’s a solid setup!! This one also spent a few years in a slash
I have that motor on my traxxes rc drag car
Best vid, keep it up
3 Words: Increase Gear Ratio
A speedy bear ratio would fail, but a torque gear ratio would make it cut more precisely but slower
@@THEBLACKBLOON So you say even a 1:1.33 ratio would fail, right?
The problem isn’t the power of the motor. If I added gears, they would need to be on axles and at this speed lego axles melt in seconds.
@@demirbey8068 yes. At that speed a 33% increase is at least more than 6000rpm
@@owensbricktesthey so apparently there’s a store called green gecko or something and they sell aluminium beams with ball bearings and metal gears and axles
Try sharpening the blade
А как называется мотор
