- In this video tutorial, I will show you how to use Google Jamboard 2020. Jamboard is an interactive whiteboard that allows a group of students to collaborate together at the same time. Jamboard works great for remote or online learning to create a collaborative environment. Jamboard works great for teachers teaching online classes in a remote learning environment.

Hi! I was trying Jamboard with my students today. They were able to see the jam but were not able to click, move, type anything. Is there something I have to do to give them access to interact with it?
How do I assign a jamboard to separate groups without them seeing other groups' work? Also, how do I add a template like a Venn Diagram? Please and thank you.
Hi. Is there a way to resend or reassign a Jamboard, if a student makes accidentally deletes a frame/slide?

Jamie... do you know if there is a way in Jamboard that I can see what student posts what comments for evaluation ? Say I use Jamboards with my 25 kids and I don't know who posts what? I also want to be able to know who says or does something that is not appropriate. Is there an Extension out there to do this? [Or I just wish Google would allow me to see who does what...] Often I want to give a kid a shout out for making a good point but I don't know who said it. thanks for your insight.

Glad it helped! That button is the laser pointer. It allows you to draw attention to the area of the frame then disappears.
How can I show myself on the screen while I am presenting just like you did in the video?

Question: Can jamboard be used in online tutoring? Does the student need to have a google email or google account in order for both of us to be able to write on the jamboard?
( I noticed that if students do NOT have a gmail address I am not able to share the google drive on Zoom)

When i try to upload a google doc from my drive it only shows folder (and none of my docs, pdf or slides that are in my google drive). and when I click on a folder it shows it is empty except a few downloads. Why?
Heelo, I wonder if you can share the jamboard in Google meet without typing all the emails of those that you want to see the whiteboard. can you add a calssroom from Google classroom, so that when you share it while having Google meet they cam immmediately access it there???
From inside Google Meet, you can now open the jamboard and it will automatically share with everyone in the Google Meet. Once in the Meet, look on the far right for the 3 dots (Timbits or Snowman). Click there, and the top item on the pop up menu will be "Whiteboard". Click it to open a jam. You will be given the choice to open a new jam or one you have saved in your drive. Once selected, it will ask you to give sharing permissions (edit or view only) to all the participants in the Google Meet.
Another option is to post the Jam document in your google classroom and then in the Meet you can shae the direct link to the classroom assignment and have students open it up.
Hello I'm trying to put a pdf onto my jamboard but it will only allow me to put jpeg and picture images no pdf's. Do you know anything about that?

Thank you for this tutorial. My question is, most of the things I want to share are PDFs. How can I convert them easily into images? I saw that you did that but it’s not clear to me how you did that.
You’re welcome! With the PDFs you can export them as an image or you can take a screenshot of them and bring that in as an image.
If the student can 'edit' on prepared work that I have for other Meets, don't I have to go back and erase everything that they added? Thank you for your work on this!

The main reason I came to this video is to learn how to share the Jamboard with my class. I have 120 students in a class. Are you telling me I have to manually enter 120 emails? No thanks.
