Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.
I wish there was a $20 DC competition to Marvel Legends
DC Multiverse is what they do. And Based on the Clayface Wave and the Aquaman movie wave, they are getting better.

@@MrE_ If you're still wondering, the Aquaman wave was phenomenal. The Black Manta is probably one of the best lower-tier figures of 2018.
Just got this guy ordered from Japan bc the price (after Snyder Cuts release) starting going up quick due to Mezco dropping the Snyder Cut 3-pack that finally gives us Flash! I think there is no possible way Mez could do this Cyborg so I had to pay up to complete the team. He scales perfectly too...trust me I did serious research bf diving into an iffy Mafex lol....for other Mezco fans that are doing the same, if you don’t have Aquaman/Wonder Woman I recommend pouncing soon on Aquaman at least bc BBTS sold out immediately and the eBay prices are going up QUICK. Hope I helped a fellow collector.
Shartimus, you should really get your imports from amazon US, or amazon Japan. BBTS has crazy high prices on mafex figures. 100 bucks is a ripoff.

Just James 1 no, not really...cyborg is $70 ish retail. that's pretty much on par with Bandai's SHF's Marvel line that's around $55-60 retail that's not much more $$ and a lot more accessories.

There's a very microscopic notch in that shield peg and shield that match up. VERY HARD TO SEE with the naked eye, but look at the peg very close.. match it up when you plug it in and it will hold very well.. Mine doesn't fall off... Anyway, awesome review and this figure is pretty awesome...
Got the entire line from MAFEX Justice League. Best one so far is Aquaman. But they are all very good looking and highly detailed. Some QC here and there but unless you get real unlucky they should be a faaar better improvement than the BvS line.

Yea this is a definite upgrade from the the dc multiverse version Mattel released but both are great I’m hoping we get Snydercut wave from McFarlane as well as a 3, baf 1: Stephenwolf, 2: dessad, 3: darkseid

He looks cool, but at 100 bucks I need to start being picky. I wonder why the prices went up by like 30 bucks. The whole draw of these was them being close to SHF price or less.
Late to give input but I believe they changed factories. The materials on these are different and you get a ton more of accessories. Their size is also closer to Marvel Legends so not tiny like the Figuarts line. I imagine that and the fact that this license is weaker compared to Marvel drives the pricing decision upwards instead of comparable to Bandai. The margins per sale must be horrible to jack it so high from one movie to the next.
The sad part about all the Justice League figures is, no matter how good the figures are and no matter how much work went into creating them, not many people will buy them because of how disappointing the movie was...

Well I’m both a Marvel and DC fan. And I’m speaking as a Dc fan here. I think the toy is a great replica of Cyborg’s film appearance. That said, I believe it’s one of the worst designed movie appearances of a DC character in a long time.
Okay that’s what I was going at. I love dc. And the Wonder Woman was great. The action figure and this review are both great. Just the mess design just didn’t fit with me

Is this a toy for playing
Not really for play. You could but he is heavy due to the die-cast bits and will be hard to balance in some instances. The plastic also is designed to give to avoid shattering the joints so yeah it will feel flimsy in play. It is great for Photography though as it is very movie accurate and at this point it is the only movie accurate version of this character at 1/12 scale.

Sorry but that figure is an eye sore it looks like mashed tin foil and that's on Warner Bros more than Mafex and its one of the reason I didn't like him in the JL movie didn't like the movie general but Cyborg's design made me the most angry should have been a bit more sleeker and break all the sliver with some blue or something
