I loved this sit-down interview with Yvonne😍. She just reminds me that asking for validation from people is a waste of time and energy and you are basically applying for your own unhappiness. Validation should be asked from God because He is the only one that truly knows you and that's why we should be faithful that He will push us through our "situations".
It's the right questions Natalie asks for me, so profound.
Some decisions are tougher than the others ❤️❤️❤️❤️but when we let the holy ghost lead us through them, we live through our purpose ..🙌🏾 🙌🏾 🙌🏾

This channel was mentioned on The Breakfast Club. When I saw that Yvonne was a guest I knew I had to listen in and this DID NOT disappoint. I love hearing her share her journey and her faith--- she was teaching !! She makes me straighten my shoulders and walk a little more confidently.

I am so thankful a friend shared this interview with me! My God, I was blown away. What I love the most is that every word spoken pointed me back to Jesus. I respect Yvonne so much and admire her relationship with God but when she talks about God I love that she takes the attention off of herself and back to Jesus. Do you understand how important this is to a lot of immigrants or even young Africans on the continent that are navigating through life and questioning their true identity ?! To come to a semblance of closure where you're at peace to feel what you are feeling and see that people that look like you and that have experienced the same events as you have turned all right.....this is simply LIBERATING. And that's the reason why REPRESENTATION in all spheres MATTER.

God Bless Yvonne, she's a woman who's confidence is in God. She's a testament to women and men that if you trust God, have faith in God and stay before him, he will do what he said he would. I was feeling defeated, hopeless and overwhelmed. I placed this interview on my watch later list a few days ago. I did not feel like praying or reading the word but I was pulled to this video.
