Science has a long dark history of being wrong, being racist, hiding certain studies to fit agendas, and forcing people to submit to it without question (pretty hypocritical considering science is about asking questions). God created you and me and everybody else. He doesn't need science to learn because there is nothing he does not know. He calls us to follow him.
Please explain to me again what your Jesus said about 'Success'? Are you saying Jesus picked you to be 'Successful' but the thousands of faithful he didn't pick? If you are referring to the Joel Olsteen Jesus, then I totally understand how you were Bamboozled in your theology.
You guys don't get it. God calls on everybody but not everybody chooses to seek him and his will for their lives. God made us all unique with different talents (spiritual gifts). Not everybody can be a celebrity. Not everybody can be rich (unless you want economic ruin). Life isn't about your success on Earth but your walk with Jesus.
