Someone on twitter did an fan translation of this in English if you want better subs!! I'm sooo happy that the trailer shows more of the movie unlike the last trailer which has more older footage. Love the sketchy lines and camera angles! My volleyball friends watching this in Imax says the sound is crazy for this movie, the director says they wanted to do something they wasn't able to do in the show with their limited time and budget. I watched the movie twice with IMAX tech on Feb 16. Although the game was compressed but still dynamic and so emotional!! I am sure I will visit theatre to watch it again and again...😭

4:36, in scenes like this when Hinata seems to be jumping just way too high above the net, don't you think its just perspective that made it look that? I tried putting an object (the player) in front of my monitor (the net) and when I looked at it from below it looked as if the object was higher when I was trying my best to put it on the same height as the top of my monitor, so I've been thinking that, since that comment of yours on Hoshiumi (the white haired little giant) jumping too high its just perspective or maybe a bit exaggerated perspective that made it look like he jumping too high.
Yeah from first view it looks like just a Hyperbole for the boom jump but the more I look at it, it is really just the perspective of the camera and Hinata is very much aligned with the net realistically

I've seen the movie last weekend and unfortunately, they did cut a lot of scenes (and even left out completely major backstories) , but the production and direction were kinda good (although I preferred the realistic approach to animation and direction for the first 3 seasons) it became very shonen
@@noyaaaaa_ Voice acting was actually better than season 4 imo especially Kaji yuki (Kenma VA) but still there were some moments that had way more impact in the Manga than how they were done in the movie, and not because ofbAnimation and VA but because of Directing and Storyboarding. ........ I am notbsure if you have seen the manga bit SPOILER ALERT!!!! . ................................................ forbexample they decided to chnage the Nekomata and Ukai handshake scene from before the game starts tobafter the match which did not make any sense! They also cut the whole Nekomata and OG Ukai backstory of how the Battle at the garbage dump started (that would've at least been a whole episode). Another thing was the last point when the players had the déjà Vu of the training camp during the play and the reactions of everyone they canged it to a 360° POV CG from only Kenma with still imagery without any motion so I found that very poorly done.
I hope they release the series afterwards like in Demon Slayer cuz the smallest details in the manga are the ones I enjoyed the most and for sure that's gonna be skipped in the movie hahaha. Also the movie on the internet may come out way later after the international release so you might not get to watch it and react as usual for quite a while and may wanna just watch it on the big screen.

He has against Aoba Johsai twice. Once he was blocked, and that was what inspired the “new quick” in season 2, which beat the same triple block to win the match.
Heyy Coach, i would like to give you a recommendation to react The First Slam Dunk Movie by Takehiko Inoue. It's one of the best sports manga and anime of all time. This show is on same level with Haikyuu and maybe arguably better than Haikyuu. In fact, the author of Haikyuu was inspired by Takehiko Inoue (Slam Dunk Writer's). The animation is on another level, It's very good at giving the impression of real basketball movements. More importantly, I want to know from athlete perspective about The First Slam Dunk Movie. I hope you read this and make my wish come true 🙏🤞. Thank You
I got to see this movie in the 4GX theaters in Japan, MAN this was an EXPERIENCE for sure! seats constantly moving around, air blowing, it was awesome. If you have these kind of theaters nearby that are showing it, PLEASE go see it like this. Well worth it

Kenma hand stretching I think is towards the end when he comes forward seeing hinata who was trying to dink it. But hinata sees kenma and pushed it behind him. I think it's the seen where he tries to reach the ball behind him. I'm getting frustrated at not being able to see the movie

Agreed, if it’s just the Karasuno vs Nekoma match then we will miss out on the Fukurodani vs Mujinazaki (and more important Kiryu)
