Very good info, I have the mini empress and I went to the max and purchase a wood turntable and decorate it with vinyl from my cricut and that's what's my machine sits on when I'm working with it. Thanks girl for that. Happy crafting
Thank you for sharing your experience with Empress Elite! I returned mine so disappointed for various reasons like what you brought up about the embossing folders, turntable plus I do not like the buttons in the center. I am back to using my Sizzix big shot plus as it is a no fail experience takes all sizes of dies, embossing folders plus the bigZ....etc. I sent back the Empress when it came out as it would not emboss correctly at all only lightly emboss the paper you could not hardly see it. I also have a Cricut Maker that I just love which by the way has a lot of the Anna Griffin Flowers/stickers that you can cut out as well for free. Sheryl
Thank you for your review. I currently have a big shot plus and I was considering selling it for the Anna Griffin empress elite. I’m so glad you saved me… Thank you again ❤
@@Ally-sy2ib Yes keep it!!! It takes time to perfect all the sandwiches for Everything to get the best cutting, embossing and etc. experience. I love funtimecrafts247 videos, but wonder why she has purchased and done videos on 4 new cutting machines past 9 months or so. Wonder if she returned the other three machines (Spellbinders, Tim Holtz Electric Sizzix, Electric Sorbet Suzzix and Spellbinders Manual). I would not buy an Electric die cutting machine none of them seem to work that great would instead buy a Cricut Maker (much stronger power than their Cricut Explore Air). I bought my AG Electric through HSN and sent back but sadly they would not refund me the return shipping fee...
HAHA! I had been on Amazon looking for it since your last video until I went to an older of your videos and you said it was a Totally Tiffany. The stand underneath is "unavailable" so I will look for another. Thanks for clearing this up! Enjoy your videos!
I put mine of a piece of my countertop I had cut for me in a fifteen circle Had two of them cut then bought a twelve inch lazy susan device to glue on to it. It’s perfect. You didnt use the turn table that came with the elite. Was it because you needed it to be higher. I bought the mini Empress plates to use in my larger empress machine game changer
@carolpope1145 love that you customized your very own! Love the mini plates too! I didn't use the integrated one because it didn't turn very smooth. Since I had the rotating design board already I like the extra space it provides and opted to use it instead. It's so much smoother as well.
Hi! Can you let me know if the Sizzix Switch Plus would fit on the design board? I just bought the switch plus and would love to get a turntable for it , please let me know if you can 😊
I am surprised that you suggest that the FoilPress will go through the Elite. Have you compared the Letterpress and FoilPress going through the old Empress vs the Elite? I hot foil like a foiling thing on foiling tablets (hey ho, Georgia Nicolson fans), and I had to get the Gemini Jr. to use the FoilPress, but I'd be thrilled to use an Empress Elite. I tried my FoilPress through the Empress and it was a no - but I am always foiling either with the AG Impression dies, or the AG 3D dies, and AG dies are famously thicker than other dies (my husband took his calipers to my AG dies vs my Spellbinders dies and the difference was significant). Inquiring minds want to know!
@claremacdonald3261 i didn't try it in the original Empress. My theory is that if the plate systems interchange, then the foilpress should as well. I purchased it today and will do a demo as soon as I receive it. Hopefully the theory pans out! Lol
I watched your other video and bought the Elite cause I thought the opening was bigger. I have the medium sized and little Empresses already…..so I’m returning it. In my stash I found 7x12 plates and magnetic mat….so this was not a wise purchase for me. Can you tell me again, what makes this “elite?” I may keep it?😂
@tchme4now lol, it's exactly the same as the original Empress, just a different outside. It uses the same plate system as the original . The opening is the same. I think the Elite part is the integrated turntable, the usb port, the new buttons, and the updated color. It's quieter and faster. If your original one is working, I don't think you need to upgrade, though.
Your tutorials are incredible. I referred to them over and over. Thank you so much.

Thank you very much for this info after watching your video I went on Amazon looking for that turntable and could not find it.
I have my Empress sitting on the exact same thing!

@ thank you!! They fooled me!!!😂
Question: Do you think the Better Press by Crafter’s Companion might go thru the Original Gemini? I hope someone might try it to see. ❤️🙋🏻♀️🤗
@@DiEtta is the opening at least 6.25" wide?
@@funtimecrafts2472The opening is 9” wide with a 1” opening.
Why buy a turntable when the Elite has it already?
@ingridarlington5745 the integrated one doesn't turn very smooth, and i had this one from the other Empress, so I opted to use it instead
Die this have an embossing plate
