I may have a freakishly understable Z NukeSS. It turns into a roller so easily that it's the only disc I CAN roll. Even my two well worn proto Hades dont want to roll, but they do love to fly! Great video, love how you show the rims and talk about the domey-ness, depth and width measurements...highly critical info to deciding why some discs 'feel' comfortable, when other's do not.
Multiple people saying Z is really understable! I’ll have to take a look! It might be that ESP is pretty overstable for a Nuke SS, or that I might have the freakish one 😅

I would go with the Hades based on your thorough review 👍. It's got a dome, high glide, and good turn. It's great for back hand, flicks, and my slow left arm. I find domey discs are easier to control.
Hades is definitely my choice! Only high speed driver I bag. I personally love the pop top ones at the moment. As you said, work so well for backhand and forehand.

Personally my favorite courses are (in no particular order), Peter Pan, Clover Cliff, Bryant Lake, Kaposia. All for different reasons. Mostly because they challenge the weak points of my game and motivate me to keep growing!

Now my question: I have a Nuke SS and I am throwing it almost on vertical hyzer angle to get it flip up to flat... Sometimes it is still turning completely over... Is that normal?

There are definitely some that are more understable than others. Which plastic? Also, roughly how far are you throwing it? Could just be the Nuke SS is too understable for your arm, or could be starting on a hyzer line, but on the follow through changing the angle to flat to anhyzer.
@@CheatingLeftyDiscGolf Its the Z Plastic and i get it up to 400 feet max. But it feels not really right to release it on a vertical hazer angle. It flips straight up to flat but 75% of the times it turns completely over. I am paying so much attention on my form and release and it still happens...
Too understable? I play Discgolf for 3 months now... Is it really possible, that its too understable? When I see my friends play, it looks sooo much better overal to what I do. But i beat them in Distance with a difference of 50-100 feet...
The Avenger SS in Z plastic is more controllable and it is flying so predictable for me... And it does not turn over. Even if i throw it on 400 feet...
I still have a Discraft Xpress in my bag. It's the ultimate understable driver, but almost too much. It has a stability of -1.
I was a little surprised not to see the Thrasher being compared, since it's nearly identical in flight numbers to the Hades.
Thrasher was shown during the Part 1 video!

I must have a freakishly OS Rogue (Proline). It is about the same stability as my Anax!
ProLines definitely have more stability, but that is crazy! The 2 I have are basically Surge SS.
I had a stock Hades that was very domey, lost it, and the replacement is noticeably less domey. This seems to lose some distance potential, but it also seems less given to turning all the way over into a roller. My first Hades almost could not be thrown forehand, period. The new one had just enough stability to hold up to the torque and is simply a giant turnover disc. For backhand, they seem fairly similar in terms of speed needed which is interesting, or maybe my arm has just gotten faster. Who knows!
two places I've found to get a domey or flat disc is OTB discs and disc baron. They pic and describe each disc and rate how flat or domey they are. Very good info when looking for something special.

@@CheatingLeftyDiscGolf well you started what I've always wanted to back when i started in 2012. I had an idea to do a lefty channel but never got around to it. got to a 952 rating and then I stopped the past 2 seasons. Now I'm getting back into it after 3 years not playing and its cool to see how the community has grown and channels like yours around.
