    Thank you for doing these reviews. As a total beginner to the hobby/sport I really appreciate any information I can get. Also love seeing another lefty out there flipping plastic. I have a comet in my bag and it does feel a little odd with the rim, however, I love the way it flies. It'll always have a spot in my bag.

      The rim is the only reason I prefer the Meteor over the Comet, but you cannot beat the flight!

    I found a Z Comet someone lost the last time I played. When I called the number on the disc the guy told me to keep it, because he sucked at throwing it. I started throwing it immediately and I loved it. I can’t wait to get out there and try it out more. Super straight thrower for me.

      @@gamingnoob4417 both are great discs and will complement each other very well! The Comet will be slower and get more turn in the mid flight, while the Emac Truths will me straighter throughout the flight and have a decent hyzer finish!

    what about titanium stability relative to tour series/color shift?

    • @CheatingLeftyDiscGolf
      @CheatingLeftyDiscGolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I unfortunately have not had a chance to throw one. Generally TI does tend to be on the more “overstable” side, which would make it comparable to Tour Series, CryZtal. I am picking up a TI/X and Big Z to do a Plastic Breakdown video next season!

  • @aaronhackett5889

    I am a huge fan of the comet. My favorites are the rubbery ones that I have had forever. I think they are called "tournament pro?" But don't quote me on that.

  • @chrisblair3081
    @chrisblair3081 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I also find the z and glo the better out of the box comets, I've had a meteor vs comet battle for a spot in the bag for 2 years now lol. I would like to dedicate to one to cut down on molds, I think the comets life will be better as it ages but it takes a while to get them there. Meteors just seem to hold that anny line better for me. But there's been some shots that I works almost pull buzzzs out of the bag to keep a comet in lol. I've been working buzzzs in that are pretty beat in and getting similar lines to a meteor but they don't have that comet glide....

    • @CheatingLeftyDiscGolf
      @CheatingLeftyDiscGolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      My midrange lineup is an ever changing mess as well! 😅 I have the Buzzz OS (not as OS as I need for Forehand so might not last), a Buzzz that is very OS for a regular Buzzz. Then from there I’m trying 3 Meteors. A Tour Series for that regular Buzzz spot, an ESP for hyzer flips that will not fully turn and a jawbreaker for super understable. It’s been working so far, but not sure if it will stay that way. The JB Meteors are nice but beat up real quick with hard to find replacements.

    • @chrisblair3081
      @chrisblair3081 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CheatingLeftyDiscGolf yeah I almost popped on the jb meteor but then thought that too lol. If you find a domey z meteor you'll love it. Wish i could send a pic of the one i have, itll anny then flex back to flat and just glide forward. Then I back it up with a glo meteor, the glows have been my fav, always flat too.

    • @chrisblair3081
      @chrisblair3081 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They usually just do them for tournaments. Beware though that if you get hooked on those limited run disc you'll probably have to trade body parts for them if you want another in 5 years lol. The ones i have are noticeably different in dome and flight, They get thrown a few rounds and placed on the rack because i only have the 1.

    I've always been disappointed with Discrafts "understable" discs. They have several slower speed discs that have a -2, -3, and even -4 turn.... and when thrown hard and flat, barely have any turn at all. I realize different plastics fly slightly different, and discs become more flippy as they beat in, but an out of the box 4 speed disc that is -2 turn and 1 fade should turn a little bit before fading out, when thrown hard and flat.
    Discraft makes good product, that's just been my main gripe about them, is their slower speed "understable" discs aren't nearly as flippy as the numbers suggest.
    Good video on your end though!
