We take the time to make a USB water pipe to fit our water Reliance 7 gallon water jugs. Great for emergency water supply or off grid camping. We love using these when we go overlanding.

I did something similar but used the water pump adapter from FirecrateUSA it was only like $16 bucks and it threads on so no hassle. I also added a sawyer mini filter inline so it filters the water

That'd so awesome. Thank you for sharing. I'll be sure to look into that. We actually gone back to just using the jug and a 1/2 weed spray bottle that you pump up. One less thing to charge up when off grid camping. 😊

Hey Happy! Do you use the Reliance jugs? Definitely a nice and simple upgrade to traditional gravity feed systems. One less complicated device. Not to mention it's portable. 😊

Don’t leave the pump in the water jug under the table in your trailer. One of my dogs accidentally motion activated it and I came back to empty water jug and a very wet trailer floor. Lol

Stabilizers and other ingredients used in conduit PVC may be toxic; conduit PVC is not held to the same drinking water standards as NSF marked pipe and should not be used in potable water systems.

O'gosh I would sure hope no one uses this for drinking water. Good you brought that point up. I couldn't image why anyone would go to this much bother to make this for drinking water. When you can save all the time and money and just buy 3 or 5 gallon drinking water and just put this pump right on top. 🙂
We only use our containers for dishes or showers. We purchase gallons of drinking water for our camping needed.
If some one really needed to go a route like this it would be smarter to just purchase the Dometic water pump and water containers. Unless they needed to filter water when traveling then I my self would go with a Lifesaver Jerrycan.
