We added a new bulkhead fitting to each of our 3 fresh water jugs that we use for our water system to make them more useful. Here is how we did it. You can purchase the parts we used in this video with the links below.

Do you have a video on how you set up the reliance jugs original fitting to your pump??

You could use a step or uni bit and cut the hole with a drill motor and maybe hold upside down to prevent shavings and or use a vacuum cleaner on blow to put in the main spout and force air out while you work...

To avoid shavings in the jug you could use a hot knife to melt/cut the whole (something disposable since you will ruin the hardening and probably leave melted plastic on the blade). Propane/butane/candle to heat.

Good idea. I didn't think any heating up a blade. But yeah, it would be sacrificed for the job....

Great video. I have ordered the parts you listed. Do you have a video on how you hooked up you water jugs to your tubing and sink/faucet?

Super helpful. I’ve been taking my jug out every time for scenario#2. It always gets wet in the cabinet either from plopping it down full or from putting the cap/hose back in. Thanks!

yes me too! I have to always remember to lay down a kitchen towel so catch any drips. This has been a really nice little mod for us.

So helpful, thank you for posting. Now I can fill without removing the tank.

You're welcome. It has been really helpful for us and we use it everyday. We use 2 10-liter jugs to fill and it tops it off perfectly without overflowing.

Nice video guy..question I'm a truck driver in the process of a pop up shower. I have the 7 gallon tank but I need to lay down sideways to fit under my truck ..do you think it would work to put that fitting on the side?

Get a round piece of pipe same diameter and heat it so hot then press into plastic and it might melt through ,might work.or at least make a start for the hole.
