The toughest part about making this cover is trying to find the right concoction of different Nightmare versions in order to make a cool remix without turning it into an ordeal or medley. Mainly this one is comprised of the original Nightmare track, the second Nightmare battle theme from Super Kirby Clash, and the Nightmare remix that appears in Canvas Curse. That version kicks ass. I also do my own thing at the end there. Recognize it?
Fun track. Definitely got really involved considering the original is so short. It’s a classic though. Jameson‘s edits add a very dynamic feel to this track. It’s kind of hard to make everyone happy especially considering the diverse assortment of Nightmare themes in the series. (There are… SIX that I considered pulling for the basis of this remix) So for that, I apologize if you didn’t get the mix of the version that you’re most familiar with. All and all, I’m happy with the track and I hope you enjoyed it as well.

I can relate to nightmare's older sprite designs, he just looks like he's snuggling up in his blanket cape and just doesn't want to leave the warm coziness it. relatable mood

I always wondered how much of a connection Nightmare has to Dark Matter. And how powerful he truly is.
Of course you would put Dreams Cast by Shadows into Nightmare's theme. It makes sense thematically, and yet pulling it off seemed ridiculous. But that's what we do best at NME, huh?
Night mare is an underrated villain imo
I usually give my edits names so this one is called "An Unfair Nightmare!"
Nightmare's theme is so underated. But oh my god this remix is amazing. It even has the obligatory "greens greens" leitmotif that is in most modern Kirby final boss themes.

Nightmare is my favorite Kirby Boss. He's fun, has a cool design, an AWESOME THEME, and I mean his name is NIGHTMARE. The perfect bad guy for a world called DREAM LAND.
It was so hype to see our favorite Chin Tornado Devil return in Super Kirby Clash. I hope some other future titles give Nightmare his deserved recognition

Nightmare has always been the most iconic kirby villian imo. The visual effects with the tornado and star projectiles were just the coolest thing ever to young me.
