Cold is actually the better time to visit a tractor place like that. No overgrown weeds, no ticks (been there done that!)
And be thankfully that tractor has a starter. On the old 2 cylinder John Deere’s, we’d get sick of hand cranking and pull start if we had to (there’s something about putting a red tractor in front that makes the green ones run 🤷🏻♂️😂)

Great video. I have eight 8N Ford tractors that I have restored and they can be very temperamental. I have had the same problem with firing and checked everything, took it apart carefully couldn’t find anything. Put it all back together and it fires I still don’t know what it was. Lol

All pulled 2 engines, installed one, called and ask hank about a mechanical problem for some strange reason and got it running in 15.02 minutes. Amazing

sometimes you just throwing time and money in the air if you knew the diff was good mite be good to fix up but if not it good parts unit i like your channel

Wow, You guys were not exaggerating about the engine block being cracked, That block was really cracked. I don’t blame you guys for finding another engine. The only thing that the original engine was good for was stripping the good parts out of it and taking the block to the scrap yard.
