once U get the magneto set right 👉 the tractor should start alot easier alot of those old tractors when U gand crank them it's only 1/2 a crank at a time U can pull start it faster any way 😊😊 OMG 8 1O 2O23
As long as you know where the timing is and the mag settings are, hand cranking is not problem. I have a few tractors/vehicles that are hand start and I don't have to mess with a battery and they always start.
Same as i heard. Also know where to set the timing and they start really easy. Most of mine are two mag clicks and running. Only one i ever got kicked by had a WICO with no manual timing adjustment. Threw the handle off my F20 about 20 feet!
We have one here in Indiana transfer down from Cincinnati from his father's farm in millville Ohio it's gray color it's all original mint condition body and fenders shutter and grill no cab it's a 37 We Believe, along with a Case C in the same type of condition both tractors run great what beautiful family heirlooms, & dad left us around 80 acres wildlife habitat w maintained trails and 15 acres of open ground to play on, w 11 vintage tractors. , Maybe having the years flipped around it may be a 39 L and A 37c. Wonder why dad was never afraid to hand start the Big L was there a difference in the starting handles from the early thirties to the late on these?
See that's funny cuz I grew up on foot clutch tractors and I prefer hand clutch tractor way over a foot clutch any day to each their own I guess you know
What county is this in? Someone needs to call the Sheriff because there HAS to be a law somewhere against pull starting a Case with a Deere! A quick online search shows that lug tires for those 32" rims are readily available.
So in my research I found that 28 and 30s are pretty common but I'm not finding much on 32s I did see that some industrials had the 32-in rubber so possibly maybe this hell's a industrial one but the tag doesn't say LI it just says L
@@CrazyDEquipment After watching the video yesterday, I was curious so, I simply googled "lug tractor tires for 32" rim" (without the quotation marks). 8 or 10 different places came up (even eBay) that have a couple different widths in stock. One near me is Miller Tire out of Wauseon, Ohio. They list 2 different tires of the same brand in the 13.50-32 size in stock. They appear to be identical but 1 is about $200 cheaper than the other. Of course, they only show 1 of the "cheap" ones in stock! They show 8 of the other in stock.
Was curious to know if you clean the tank or carburetor at all before starting to tinker or pull? First time I have seen your channel I did subscribe so I'm unfamiliar with this is a given in your book? I'm going to have to go back to start maybe these are tutorials on propane.+
Hey Crazy D, my brother has a 1948 Case DO, the block had a crack in it. Do you know where we might be able to find a block for it? Also might the block from an Case LA fit the DO ?

Classic iron never dies, it just needs a massage once in awhile.

keep your thumb above the crank with all your fingers and crank starting is no problem. I learned that as a kid with my grandfather's CC 1933 Case

Case I Love them all good job
Those hand clutch junks ,had a 600 Diesel most unhandy tractor we ever owned ,sold for a fix or scrap several years ago .
See that's funny cuz I grew up on foot clutch tractors and I prefer hand clutch tractor way over a foot clutch any day to each their own I guess you know
@@CrazyDEquipment agreed, much easier for kids to learn on, they don't have to reach the pedals or push a heavy clutch
Wish i could find a hand clutch setup for a W9
Sounds like a good runner!!
Would like to see a good paint job on it 😊
Can’t beat the trusty old 60 😁
Wondering if Case L could be a industrial tractor, with the heavy rear casting hubs?

Nothing like a old Case
Man that thing sounds good
Hey Dave the tires on the case l are worth more than a $1000. Just saying!

An LA block will not fit my good man that's way too big you need to find something from a D series like a DC or D DC3 Dc4
@@CrazyDEquipment Do you know where I could find, I am not sure whom to get in contact with. Any help you could provide would be good. Thank you.
Is cool with the rear rims being marked.
Totally outstanding
Badass shovel head of tractors
File points check coil andcap new gas god bless
Nice 60
Were L's originally steel-wheeled?
Some came out on rubber some came out on steel
Take the chain off the front end before you run over it.
It took off too quick on me I didn't get a chance to pull the chain off lol

I yuste tu run a kase L in tha fieldz on tha frm wen I wuz 5 yearz old in 1956
What's that burping and farting sound in the background?
I was just waiting for the rear wheel to grab the log chain. Glad it didn't
Same here thought he would pull the front axle off
