So freaking cool, agreed it would awesome but i will keep the slow but very dependable 2V and keep keep the money in my pocket for now. Awesome sounding.
@@supersayinone I have one at home and I’d love to make 450 for 3k. How do you figure you could do it for that cheap? The only way I see is finding a cheap Paxton or vortech and that kinda rules out the N/A factor here
Have you guys ever done a comparison of same gen mustang engine vs f150 engine? Im talking similar mods, basically just the cams being different. I dont want a guess or expectation. I'm only interested in proven data. The mustang motor is quite a bit more money, the cams are as well. I dont recall you ever mentioning this in a matter of fact way.
QUESTION***** What K-member setup is this? I know it’s UPR, but what’s the exact setup? Spring rate, etc. Gonna buy one. TBH I’d love to send my Saleen to you for the swap! lol
I've been researching for about a year. From what I know 12k minimum if you do all the work. 20k is more realistic for a nice swap doing all the work yourself.
It’s cheaper to build the 2v that came in these cars, sure it’s cool to swap in the coyote but the cost isn’t justifiable in my opinion, the 2v just needs cams, bolt ons and a vortech to run 10s, and that’s way cheaper then swapping in the coyote to run low 12s/high 11s with a stock coyote Now sure the coyote will make more power with boost applications but I mean at the end of the day how much money do you want to throw at it?
@@DennisBurger-hc3ieit's really not that expensive to coyote swap I've seen gen 2 mustang engines with under 100k for 4-5k that is alot of bang for the buck. You can make over 450 rwhp easily with a good manifold and headers and it even sheds some weight compared to the iron 2v. You cam boost it and do 800-900 with stock like driveability. Either is a good option.
Congrats Bryan! That's awesome that it went to someone who was planning on buying one. The being a family project is really cool also👍
man thats awesome that the trans went to someone that had plans for it. and that it was to restore a fox body to get it back on the road! Awesome!
i just need a small loan of a million dollars
I just got mine done 04 dsg Mach 1 👌 my God it's a beast
Man as much as I love my foxbody, I would love to get my hands on a new edge
Between my channel and yours we’re eventually gonna coyote swap every sn95 in America! 😂
I had to screen shot it when it went by to see what it was
Congratulations, for the winner.

It’s cheaper and easier to make the 2v fast then swap in a coyote 😉 if you do the work yourself of course
@@DennisBurger-hc3ieIt’s definitely gonna be expensive and hard to make a 2v make 400 wheel N/A
@@RippinRaz3 grand in total will get you 400-450

Makes me miss my 02. But my cellphone speakers must suck because it still sounded like a 2V. 😆…and I have a Gen1.
The coyote sounds better in the pre 05 cars for whatever reason. Sounds closer to the old engines but still not the same. More high pitch.
Congrats on winning the 6 speed

How much does it cost to do a coyote swap in 2024?
I've been researching for about a year. From what I know 12k minimum if you do all the work. 20k is more realistic for a nice swap doing all the work yourself.
I have about 8k in mine so far, probably be at 9k when it's all done

@@DennisBurger-hc3ieit depends on what you want not everyone wants boost. Either is a good option.

I want to coyote swap my 03 gt, but I got heart at work and am not sure if I can return. It would be so cool to show it at car shows.
