When baking in the silicone molds put them onto a cookie sheet so you don't have to worry about them bending and flopping around. You wont have to clean the cookie tray because of the mold but you can move it to the oven and back safer and easier.

bruh this is what i needed in life. donuts are literally my biggest weakness. i don't really have a problem binge eating or losing weight but the one thing i miss is donuts. i'll eat donuts once or twice throughout the month as a reward. (i never eat just one donut its always 2 or 3) so this is such a godsend.
Oh wow this one looks delicious I’m going to try it. One frosting I use that doesn’t have protein but has very little calories is hersheys cocoa powder, powdered erythretol, and instant coffee. With just a tiny bit of almond milk until it’s the right consistency Makes a nice chocolate coffee glaze.
Felu your work is fantastic. Years of going back and forth with diets and nutritionists and still I couldn't really keep my weight consistent. I've been introducing your recipes into my meal plans and I can't explain how well they work for me. I'm not hungry, have less cravings, meal prep is quite fast, and I'm actually losing weight at a moderate but healthy rate. I feel that something that helped me a lot is when you explain how you combine or reason through preparing a dish. That kind of reasoning and the full macro breakdown helped me hugely. I appreciate everything you do, and I just bought your book. Thanks for everything 💪
New subscriber here. I absolutely love your channel. I started my weight loss journey back in 2011. I lost 85 lbs during that time and have kept it off ever since. My sweet tooth (or I usually call it my inner fatboy) never left. I have tried and made many different variations of protein chocolate donuts. And they ALWAYS come out dry. This is the best version yet. Thank you so so much!!
Gave these a try today, though I used a whey/casein/chocolate hot chocolate protein powder blend instead of the cocoa/protein (also used it for the frosting) and they turned out great, and roughly 110cals a piece! (it made 8) Thank you for the recipe/idea!
Love this recipe and the donuts! Also, if you'd like, I would highly recommend a rubber spatula to scrape off the remaining batter that may be hard to get off with a spoon! Game-changer for maximizing every bit of food for me.
This is very similar to the protein cake recipe I have every single day. Here’s the recipe if anyone’s interested. The glaze is the best part and I top it with raspberries as well. Chocolate version: - 30 grams oat flour - 15 grams vanilla protein - 10 grams fiber powder (not necessary) - 15 grams erythritol - 13 grams cocoa (I like it very chocolatey) - 1.5 grams baking soda - 60 grams nonfat Greek yogurt - about 70 grams almond milk - pinch salt Mix all the dry ingredients in a personal sized bowl then add the yogurt and almond milk. Mix well and microwave for 2 min. Chocolate glaze: - 20 grams PB powder - 5 grams erythritol - 5 grans cocoa powder - almond milk until Desired consistency 400 calorie and 40 grams protein
The actual difference between casein and whey is VASTLY more important than "one holds water and binds one doesn't" one is fast absorbing (whey) while the other is slower (casein). Whey is better to take after a workout while casein is better to take before bed to give your muscles the protein they need throughout the night. (Tho recent studies actually show while whey is fast absorbing, it still lasts for about 90% as long as casein after the initial spike. They found that whey is about 30% better for muscles synthesis for just before bed use. So really there isn't a reason to use casein other than for baking)
Ive got a chronic illness that greatly restricts my fat intake, so these recipes are a great way to get some of the foods i like so much back, thanks so much!!!
Every time you mix whey and casien protein for demonstration I imagine you having to drink it after the shoot so it doesn't go to waste. We appreciate your sacrifices.

Mmm, looks good. I just got the book - the formatting and design are very good. Everything you need to know for a recipe all on one easy to understand page. Already have 3 or 4 recipes I want to try this week.
I tried this recipe. I love the "frosting". I made the full amount and ate them with just a few doughnuts, so I basically had "pudding" and doughnuts for breakfast. It's great that it's high protein, sugar free, and low calorie.
This recipe looks great. While I appreciate the different protein demo .. at 1:34 mins, the statement that you can not drink Casein in a shake is not correct. It is a slower digesting protein source that people use later in the evening.
Research pili nuts they are considered one of the healthiest nuts in the world and would be a great alternative to peanuts, they are also high in protein and have all nine amino acids, great video thanks for posting 👍😁💪🏻
When it comes to milk, I've found that milk substitutes like almond milk, soy milk and oat milk can have varying outcomes when used as milk for baking, since most of them don't have lactose sugar, which can be an important component in the milliard reaction and browning process. I tend to rely on milk substitutes, since many can be lower in calories, so does anyone know if there are any low calorie milk substitutes that handle better than others when baking?
Unfortunately if you’re aiming for a nicer Maillard reaction you’ll need the higher calorie options, choose options with higher sugar content is the only thing I can think to help with that.
Yes, you are right but that would also mean that I would fill the other part of the video with something irrelevant and I don't like wasting peoples time
This looks good but for keto folks could you replace oat with almond flour, low-fat with higher fat Greek yoghurt, and almond/macadamia nut milk instead of skim?;) might give it a go! I’ve made muffins with similar.
Hey man! Another great recipe! Have You ever tried coco fiber instead of regular coco? I find its ads the same chocolate flavour while adding more fiber, thus maing he meal more filling.
Hey man, first of all thank you for sharing! I finally got to make something from a recipe of yours but I'm wondering how should I store these? In the fridge after already frosting them? Or refrigerate the frosting while keeping them air tight at room temperature?
These videos make you realize how competent our food could be. If we just focused on healthy ingredients or even more protein for strength, even dessert could be good for you. instead we get poison with every grocery store item.
I'm allergic to sugar, so I like to make my own frosting as well. However, my frosting isn't as healthy as yours, but it does harden over time. I use a little butter, whey protein, and aspartame. Aspartame loses it sweetness when heated, so unlike erythritol, it's not the best for cooking, but it's great for toppings. Thx for all the recipes.
Kann man auch die Erdnussbutter komplett auslassn bzw. mit noch was ersetzen, oder muss man es nehmen? Ich hab zuhause jetzt auch nur neutrales und schoko whey da aber kein casein...
I got excited when I heard 62 grams of protein. In my head I’m thinking per donut. Alas this was a 12g donut. I may have to use this recipe but experiment with higher protein content! How cool would a 45 g donut be? I feel it would be need be absolutely fudged out of control to taste decent lol. Would there be any downside besides flavor to adding a larger amount of protein?
Nice recipe!! How about vegan protein? From what I’ve seen it’s quite absorbent as well, what’s the textural difference between that and whey/casein blend?
any nut with high protein value as long as you are not completly alergic to nuts. besides that get an alternative that is used in cakes etc. with high protein value
You could try it but he’s definitely not joking when he says casein or whey/casein blend is the way to go. It’s worth it to follow the recipe he provided here! It makes a huge difference.

Casein is also better protein to have as a desert as well with it being slow acting.
