    Learn how to make a versatile shelf out of popsicle sticks to display your miniature treasures. I also show how to make some miniature bread, a towel, and decorate the shelf with books and canning jars.
    The look of this shelf could be easily customized with a different finish color. You could also add wallpaper to the back. This was fun and easy to make.

      Thank you! I've always used my files to add similar details to wood. I'm glad I gave it a shot! So much faster. If my dollar tree hole punch can do it, I'm sure any can.

    • @queencityminis
      @queencityminis  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I was using files as well. I'm pretty impatient so I like the hole punch technique a lot better.
      My hole punch cost $1 from the Dollar Tree so it's really cheap but it's still holding up well and punches through the edge of popsicle sticks easily.
      I could probably sharpen it by punching through aluminum foil or trays. I'll do that if I think it's starting to get dull

    I had no luck using my hole punch. Where did you get your tongue depressors? I can cut mjne with scissors but the hole punch didn't work at all. The wood seemed too thick. Any ideas as to my problem? I cut triangles with my exacto instead, which isn't nearly as interesting as yours. Your green olives look good enough to eat. I very much enjoy your videos .

    • @queencityminis
      @queencityminis  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! I used popsicle sticks. The hole punch may not go through the first try. You need to press it and release, then press again and release. It goes through after 2 or 3 presses. My hole punch is from the Dollar Tree.
