Removing that "lightbar" is an upgrade by itself >.>

Haha! What No love for the light bar? It's actually my 4 year old son's truck and he loves the looks of it. He actually said he wishes the light bar was functional!

@@havikhobbies I know it will blow the budget a little but the Meus lightbar is amazing for $30 (AUD)

@@TobyBurt There is a generic one on Ebay/Amazon for like 10 bucks US that I might get for him!

I shorten the wires on the Emax servos & resolder them. Makes for a cleaner install & eliminates a little weight.

I thought of doing that but I'm too lazy! Do you solder them at the board in the back of the servo or just cut a section of wire out and solder back together?

I unsolder it from the board cut the wire to length and solder it back. Pretty simple you just need an iron with a pencil tip to make the job easier.

I've done that a few times in the past with 1/10 scale servos it does make for a much cleaner install!

Great information. I might do that instead of a different servo. Thanks.

I really like these little Emax servos. They are a great budget option, and when you add the o-rings to the steering links you get strong steering performance for not much money!

@@havikhobbies I purchased a Reefs about a week ago. I'm going to have to get creative to install it. I might save it and go with this instead. I already bought a metal link.

@@havikhobbies I had a heap of 3mm orings from hobbyking, adding them to the links as well as steering took away all the slop, I ran a deadbolt like that for ages before I started buying Furitek and all the other crap.

@@TobyBurt Yeah if you keep these things light weight and mod them sparingly they are surprising capable little trucks.
