Hi. The problem is that the db shock shaft is not much longer. You wont be able to do full drop with that this way. I have seen drop on DB shock with very similar spring, it was only 0.5mm wider, 3mm. Search in big scx24 group mate. Based on your name, i guess you are Hungarian. If yes, check our small but growing group Micro Crawler Club Hungary facebook.com/groups/426711792595247/?ref=share
@@demomicrocrawlerclub hi. I am from Slovakia. I am fan of several SCX24 fun pages on Facebook. Will look for some advice there. Just to mention I am running DB shocks with stock springs.
@@RobySVK All right. We might meet then at RC24 competition. We were there at 1st comp already :) Stock spring is ok, but still, the screw/shaft in the shock is not too long to handle a 2cm spring for drop imo. Let me know what you will do with it at the end.
@@demomicrocrawlerclub yes you are right. Figured it out already too that the only available drop is the length of the shaft. So will measure shaft legth and will order set of springs. I will let yoi know how it worked out once they reach me :)
If you angle your shocks back to a lower point on the frame, you should be able to get back your travel. If you go too far with that the spring won't pull the body down as well.
Thanks for the idea. I will definitely try that, but for this build, having good drop is more important at front then having more flex, so atm i am fine with the little less travel but will see how that tiny spring can keep up with an angled shock setup :)
Gonnta try it with Injora dpuble barrel shocks. I guess I will opt for 20 mm version of this spring

Excellent work 😉👍 very interesting vidéo 👍😉
Thank you :) this little mod gives one of the most performance change for the rig imo. The well set shocks. I hope this vid will be helpful.
I love running no springs at all banded down tight in front.
Good setup :)
