I love how evil Cole still seems to still act like good Cole, as opposed to evil and good delsin who are extremely different. While delsins choices are black and white, Coles evil and good choices are more grey as there are actual benefits to choosing evil

I always imagined that inFamous 3 would focus on the outcome of the evil ending of inFamous 2, with Cole essentially becoming a successful Magneto type villain by an enslaving the human race with an iron fisted army of Conduits. Whereas, Delsin would be the underdog hero who grew up as a fan of Cole’s heroic exploits and understands that there is a goodness deep within him, but that he must be stopped regardless. Resulting in the two fighting against each other, and Delsin winning out in the end through the relationships that he formed with other Conduits over the course of the game *(Fetch & Eugene).* That’s just what I wish became of inFamous Second Son’s storyline at least.
Oh, yeah. If Cole and Delsin fought each other, Cole would clean sweep.
I’m not sure if there were ever an infamous 3 I would want to play as Delson even though I think playing as Delson would be a cool idea, now if I could have missions where I can play as Cole and some missions where I could play as Delson that would be great
Actually Sucker punch came out and said the Infamous 2 evil ending was the intended point for a possible sequel to pick up at, but they chose to go with the good ending because it was the most played version according to PS3 trophy data.

If I may, I have a bit of a theory about why Delsin can't use new powers as easily. It's my headcannon that after acquiring a new type of power, he needs to awaken it and learn to master it the old fashioned way, through extremely stressful problems and hard work, and the more complex a power is the harder it is to get a hang of it. One could argue Eugene's hard light constructs and Augustine's overwhelmingly powerful abilities are more complicated than smoke and neon, so I think this theory holds a little weight. But that's where blast shards come in. I don't think they exactly create a new power so much as they highly accelerate a conduit's development, which is why within mere minutes, Delsin gained greater mastery over his concrete power than Augustine did in seven years, all those Blast cores let him just speed through all the training he would have otherwise needed.

I think one thing you also missed is the fact cole can use his electromagnetism without absorbing energy. So without recharging he can still fight with his Amp and throw anything metal

I am personally a Delsin fan, but I do agree with this Cole is just too powerful for Delsin. And I know this may not change anything, but what if you decided to have it to where Delsin had already obtained the powers of the other conduits that were locked up. Because he did say he was going to, how would that shape this battle. And what if Delsin was also evil.

@@TheAscendedHuman inFAMOUS 1 Cole isn't as strong as inFAMOUS 2 Cole. The beginning of inFAMOUS 2 has inFAMOUS 1 Cole until the beast sucks up his powers. You don't go back to that level at the end of 2, you surpass that. That's why Cole is able to defeat the beast. Yet John White's regen is way better than every other Conduits' since he regens at an atomic level.

Delsin has passed out from absorbing the most basic of conduits. If he would try to absorb the beast he would most certainly die. Even if he didn’t, and he would only be knocked unconscious, the beast would kill him while he’s down.

All this is unfair though Beast mode vs a man with powers? that is kinda cheating Normal evil Cole vs Good Delsin. Delsin would win that fight. Delsin has the power to drain powers from people so Delsin would just smoke dash towards cole and grab his arm and drain his power and delsin will just need to drain something electrical. Plus delsin has the power to run at high speed, Incase himself in concrete which will shield him from coles lightning attacks and gun shots and his amp. Video he can use to summon tons of angels to aid him. AND Eugene can help him by turning into his big Archangel Form. The girl with light powers she can shoot at coles legs to tie him down. AND Delsin can shift into smoke form and dodge his lightning. So if Cole didn’t have his beast form Delsin would win 100%. Delsin is my man
That’s not how it works , if you pick evil Cole vs Delsin , you have to allow both fighters to fight at their maximum . You can’t take away coles beast form to help benefit your narrative for delsin , beast mode is what makes Cole truly evil so you have to include it . I don't know, man... Delsin looks like he has a lot of potential, he just didn't show enough like Cole did. His biggest feature was in the second game and Delsin didn't even get a second one. Cole is definitely above him, but not as far as you think. I see Fetch wiping the floor with Nix and Kuo easily on a 1v2, for example. Delsin defeated her while he was still learning.

Indeed Beast Cole equals instant win don't get me wrong I love Delsin he's my favorite character in the series but beast Cole is well a beast no pun intended. So yeah evil Cole stomps Delsin completely to me Infamous 2 good Cole vs Delsin good would be a much more fair match up for hero Delsin then evil Cole where the winner is super obvious so yeah Infamous 2 Cole (good) vs Delsin (good) I feel would be a cool fight where both characters are at their fair best as heroes as Infamous 1 Cole (good) is outclassed against Delsin (good) so Infamous 2 Cole (good) would fair better.

Theres an interesting factor that plays into this. Because coles prime power is electricity, he can excell to a much higher level in the use of that power than delsin, because delsins prime is absorbtion/adaptivity of others powers. So while he does have the ability, it isnt his prime. its true cole had other abilities, but they were so powerful cause they were used in tandom with the main power to enhance it. Delsin can do quite allot if he trains and trains to build it up but he hits a wall cause he isnt specialized like most primes. For instance the form of he who dwells (the giant angel/demon of video powers) that eugene can turn himself into, or the high intensity beams that fetch can use to bombard an enemy or burn through a building. It can be sumed up like this. Delsin cant beat cole at his own game because cole was born with his electric powers built into his body and delsin can borrow them but its not gonna have the same strength.
Regarding the endings to Second Son, I like how the Good Ending played out, but it was very predictable. And while the Evil Ending was pretty bitter, I found it the most interesting. Even Delsin's mannerisms in the Evil Ending just spoke so much for his newly corrupted personality. I found him more compelling a character than Cole, but I can definitely agree that Cole is superior in both pairings.
I also can't wait to see your next VS video, as I like both characters. I have a feeling on who would win, but I'll not spoil it for everyone else.
If I can, I'd love to suggest a VS pairing. I would love to see a comparison between Noctis and Sora. Granted that this would probably have to wait until KH3 has been out long enough for all power speculation, but I feel as if Sora and Noctis are similar enough for the fight to be VERY interesting.

I can't wait for the Rikku VS Yuffie battle. Yuffie is the better fighter, but Rikku us far more intelligent. Being great with machines and a chemist.
While I agree there's no way Delsin could win, if he somehow absorbed Cole's powers and survived. Both Conduits would be knocked out. And your arguement that Cole's Ray Field blast would destroy Delsin is BULLSHIT. If Cole was stupid enough to use that on Delsin then while it may leave Delsin knocked out, Cole wouldn't be able to kill him because it would be Beast vs Beast because if you remember from inFamous 1, a Ray Field blast makes an already activated prime Conduit STRONGER. Don't even try to argue that he would need to get Blast shards and core relays before that could happen after the blast because remember what Blast Shards actually are. They are pieces of earth that have been charged with Ray Sphere energy, meaning they have a tiny bit of the blast in them. Also remember Core Relays use the exact same energy. Given that Cole is essentally a giant walking Ray Sphere his Ray Field blast would have the exact same energy as Blast Shards and Core Relays except way more concentrated, meaning Delsin wouldn't even need Core Relays or Blast Shards. Cole would've already given Delsin all he needs to become a second Beast. Now in that circmstance I still think Cole would win because of one thing. When Delsin copies a power he always gets a weaker version of that power. Example: despite coping Eugine's powers he can not turn into "He Who Duells", he also cannot change into that giant Concrete monster Augustine changed into. However this is all assuming he retains that weakness in the event Cole blasts him, which is very possible that Delsin would lose that weakness if he takes the blast.

They are manufactured and are extremely rare. You're talking about blast shards.

Blast Cores may be manufactured but they are manufactured using Ray Sphere technology, basically Ray Sphere energy was used to create them, just not in the same way Blast Shards were made. This means they just simply have more energy than a lowly Blast Shard, allowing it to grant more powers. But think about it, the Beast is literally a giant walking Ray Sphere, his Ray Field blasts (the name says it all) has the exact same power as a Ray Sphere going off. That packs way more energy than a Blast Core. If Cole was stupid enough to do that to Delsin which I honestly don't think he would be, he would only make his life harder than if he would've just pounded Delsin's face into the concrete.

You forgot that Ray Sphere Blast are essentially Blast Shards but energized and more concentrated, so if Cole pulled off a Ray Sphere Blast, this would power up Delsin to the point where he stands a chance against Beast mode Cole
Even if the blast was capable of powering up Delsin the explosive force of the blast itself would be enough to knock Delsin out long enough for Cole to either execute Delsin or perform control which temporary turn off Delsin's powers off and within the ruins of a destroyed Seattle he would have no where to hide. Plus Beast Mode Cole is like Dr.Manhattan even if you destroy his physical body he can simply reform himself. The RFI device has the power to destroy the essence of power that makes up the beast and the powers of conduits making it the only device and only real means to permanently kill Beast Mode Cole.

Well this is a one on one fight so Abigail and Eugune aren't here and just to end this Cole is a Fusion Reaction a self generating source of energy and power while Delsin could be a super charged battery. Fighting within the ruins of destroyed city he has no way a rejuvenating his powers. As powerful as a conduit could every be The Beast is the only one who never has to recharge and he is one who can unlock and turn on a conduits powers. Whats to stop him from turning Delsins powers just as he did Cole's for several days and Cole during their first fight was strong enough to defeat a future version of himself. And with Coles ablitiy to read Delsins mind at all times Delsin would never have a chance to get the drop on him and Delsin isn't smart enough or cleaver enough to out think Cole. But I admire how much thought you put into your responses the debating in the comments is always my favorite part as long as people keep it civilized.
3TopicsReviewer In terms of a one on one fight, then Cole would win with some difficulty in the context of the conditions I put him in, but if we were to take in every small factor then not only would Cole have to deal with Delsin, Abigail and Eugene but all surviving conduits of the DUP, who are also supercharged as well and if Cole is forced to fight all of them, I see him using his old tactical approach and would win but with extreme difficulty

nice video man. you said this would be your last infamous video and I was just wondering Why is that, is it down to you not having enough information to construct states for the other characters or is it you feel the audience wouldn't be interested in secondary characters being the focus. If it's the second option than would you consider making a video of Kessler vs Bertran vs Augestine. I think it would be interesting to see who is the strongest antagonist in the series. Kessler has the most experience as a Conduit, Bertran in his mutant form has the most physical strength and Augestine has her military back ground so she would have experience as a tactician

what if delsin took the powers of coles died friend or something like that and uses the ice power to completely freeze cole and run to think of what to do freezing cole won't kill him but i think it would be effective due to how efficient it was in a cut scene where she just touch cole and it hurt him forgot her name the one with the ice powers

wait what if delsin somehow got the rfi? isn't the rfi the only thing that can actually kill the beast? as seen in infamous 2's evil ending, nix used the rfi on the beast and it wasn't even fully charged and isolated the beast's powers. if delsin used it, wouldn't it isolate Cole's powers like in infamous 2? the delsin could slide in for the kill.

RFI was designed for electrokinesis. even if Delsin acquired electrokinesis, cole'd destroy him before he could power the RFI up.

May I ask why you have such favourable conditions to evil Cole here but not to Evil Delsin from the previous confrontation?
Evil Delsin would have had the power of every conduit in the D.U.P facility due to the quote of shaking the hand of each and every one of them on their way out of the prison
Well Shinku the reason for that in terms of Delsin's Evil ending is simply due to the fact that we have no idea what all the powers that Delsin may have received would be. If he said at the end of his Evil ending that he absorbed 100 more different powers we have no idea what those power are and their for we can not use them. For Cole we know what powers he received from John White so there for it fair game. If there was source that provides information on how many more different powers Delsin may have received at the end of his evil ending I surely would've used them in the first video. I have to work with what I can prove not with what we think may or may not know.

Would it be possible or interesting in doing a versus match between the female version of Final Fantasy VII cloud: Lightning (from the first game) and Final Fantasy VIII female version of Squall: Paine. Paradigm shift vs Garment Grid. I always knew Lightning was created as a female version of Cloud but I only recently found out about the Squall/ Paine connection. Just curious on your take of the idea. Definitely been lovin' the versus match between your Final Fantasy and Resident Evil characters!!

As said in the video, Delsin wouldn't be able to get close enough to the beast to absorb his powers because of the Beast's overwhelming power. Although even without beast powers, Evil karma Cole would destroy Delsin as evil karma powers are more destructive, more POWERFUL versions of his powers; especially if we take InFamous 1 evil karma Cole as his power is ridiculous with the extra ray sphere blast. Just overall, because of Delsin's inability to significantly train his powers or use them at the same time, Cole will always win (unless we count the load of powers from the DUP prison as that would give Delsin many more powers).

if Cole got the power of the beast in this match,in the previous match delving would have the power of all the conduits from Curdan Cay .
Here's the problem we do not know what those power are. If you can find me a list of every power he could've absorbed that is one thing be there is no evidence that states what he might've received. I can only use what is official not from what is speculated and what makes one believe that certain conduits would allow Delsin to take their powers. Im sure once most of them see what he is doing they would fight against him realizing that he has been corrupted by his lust for power.
but Delsin was the one who freed them so the Conduits would owe something to Delsin, in this case they're powers

not trying to hate here great analysis on both cole and delsin but common man focus a lil bit more and actually completely saying your words before starting a new one and focus a lil less and "sounding" smart idk just bothers tf outta me.
I just wanted to say this but in ur evil Delsin vs good Cole, Delsin said he would absorb all the conduits powers in Curden Cay which is basically almost all of them, so he should also have power to many other things. So he should be able to switch between hundreds of powers, if u said that, sorry, your video was 50 minutes so I did my hw while listening so I wasn't fully paying attention (I dont disagree but also don't agree until all facts have been stated)
Also if u played Paper Trails, you would know how fast and annoying the paper ability was, so I'm thinking he could run faster than Cole could attack, but idk cuz whenever I tried to shoot Celia with my projectiles while chasing her, she would dodge them. He could also dodge touching Cole by how fast he ran.
OK i really appreciate that you took the time to respond as oppose to others who just flat out attack me allow me to explain. Yes Delsin did say he would absorb alot of powers the problem is we have no idea what those powers are. There is no information from any source that states what he might have received. I can not use information that does not exist there for it is impossible analyze or use those powers. That is why they are not taken into account in the previous video.

Even if that was true, delsin needs a source of that power as he cannot use them all at once, so the powers alone wouldn't be able to kill beast cole
I'm not a Delsin fan but I didn't really like that you used Beast Cole. That's much too OP. Cole still wins though.

I know this is stupid but, since Cole is made of fire and technically SMOKE can't Delson just absorb it?
not only that but you did say this is in delsins home right? there's shard EVERYWHERE, and he only needs 4
dodiVSgaming XD Even if he could absorb the smoke from Cole it doesn't change the fact that all of Delsins smoke attacks would still be useless.
oh, I just thought that delsin might be able to drain Cole out of the beast form and potentially have enough smoke to suffocate our do something critical to cole
3TopicsReviewer there's also the fact that given the circumstances of Cole hiring him with a ray blast thing, this would render them both unconscious right? not only that but delsin will then become Supercharged and be almost equal to Cole in terms of physical capabilities, and in the event where Delsin absorbs Coles power, he wouldn't need a shard or a DUP thingy given the fact that Cole is typically a Living AND a stronger version of a shard... giving the rare chance of Delsin surviving, he'll basically become a second beast, and Correct me if I'm wrong at this point Delsin having also absorbed the required amount of juice to use the powers (Thanks to Cole) Would also be able to use them to their full extent right off the bat - keep in mind that every time delsin absorbed a shard he got visions which helped him understand the powers.. again this is my argument (not a strong one at that) and is only in the rare case of Delsin not Fainting to the overflow of power surging towards him like a bullet out of a gun..

Delsin's power looks good like the neon or smoke or basically all of them but the most powerful then it has to be Cole but which one do you enjoy to play as more? i like delsin cuz his neon and smoke power is just gorgeous

but there is one thing i seen that makes delsin stronger than Cole and that the fact that Cole power is unlimited but Cole still need to recharge because if u play the second game the beast need a hell of a lot of time to heal and get it power back and if u take in the fact that Cole could use his human form he will be to weak because of his transformation take a hell of a lot of pain on him
What would happen if delsin didnt have to drain powers to change them or recharge them, and he could steal coles powers without having to drain blast cores which was a poor gameplay mechanic. If delsin could possibly drain cole without these nerfs would he acquire coles power set nixs power set and the beast powers all in one? Or would they be downgraded versions of each of those powers since delsins form of neon concrete and video are all shit in conparison to the real conduits that owned those powers to begin with? All questions i wonder about.
It would be a downgrade version of coles powers, when delsin absorbed fetch his power was also nerfed compared to hers, coupled with coles experience with the power, delsin would still lose
to be honest i never picked nex for the partner because of the beast's pyro abilities its pointless and also choosing the ice girl's combo would theroritically give him no weakness as he could turn the pools of water to ice and with the advancements hes made draining multiple targets wouldnt be hard and besides fire ice and lightning well delsin aint lugia and technically lugia lost that fight to

If he absorbed the beast he would die 🤣🤣, when the beast gave Cole his power he literally had to change coles body on the molecular level so he wouldn't die, so if delsin absorbed him he would simply die, and if he doesn't, remember delsin loses all his powers after absorbing and needs an energy shard, Cole would just step on him, so delsin trying to absorb Cole would just be a stupid idea
Also Cole as the beast can read minds, so if delsin did think of absorbing the power, the beast would know, and Cole is certainly faster than delsin could ever be simply because the beast can Teleport, as soon as delsin thinks of even trying to absorb Cole, he would've Teleported away, also, delsin can't run at the speed of light xD, it's more like 30 mph
Every conduit has a certain beast form they can turn into depending on their power cole has the beast Agustin has the concrete monster and ugein has his giant angel so if fetch had mastered her powers she could probley turn into a giant neon monster also since delssons power is copying the power of other conduits shouldn't he get a over powered monster form that's a mix of all his powers
