Them becoming buddies would not only be wholesome, it would also be fun to explore the differences and similarities between their characters. Cole, the hero who was created by Kessler essentially ruining his life and Delsin, the hero who became one because Augustine tried to ruin his friends' lives.

I studied that when he fought augustine she could have broken out of the bonds on her legs. So I think that a prime conduit cannot absorb another's form of matter.
Personally I believe Cole and Delsin in this situation would actually start realizing they're not activly trying to kill each other. To point it out like this: On good karma, both are as non-lethal as possible. They are only as lethal as necessary due to their circumstances. Delsin is also that guy who will banter or talk down the other person in his fights, and Cole is reserved enough to pick up on that. Now given that this is also a situation of strictly inFAMOUS 1 Cole and then Delsin, Delsin *is* a good chunk more versitile, so he does have that edge. If this was Cole as of the good end of inFAMOUS 2 , then no doubt, Cole would win (again). But also if we check the Neon powers between Second Son and First Light, and really just the evidence we're given of other Eugene and Augustine in Second Son, then Delsin, in exchange for being able to mimic and THEN retain any Conduit's powers forever, also has weaker versions of those power sets in general. And given Cole's relative adaptability, plus his reserved style of fighting, plus his stronger attacks don't need a special kind of "ammo" like Delsin does, I'd say Cole would win again. But getting back to the major point I'm trying to make here, I think what'd REALLY happen is that they'd be fighting, they'd both be going for more non-lethal tactics, and it would end up with them BOTH basically being like "wait a minute this guy is holding back" and start to stop fighting. And then probably start working together and whatever.
Delsin have weaker version of the powers because the main power of delsin is absorbtion he need to absorb the energy of the Core relays yo keep upgrading his own versión of that power so he can make a powerful versión of the powers he absorb if he can manage to get a lot of Core relays
I imagine cole would start thinking delsin is a good guy during their fight then would lead delsin to him and zekes rooftop and all drink a beer together. so this version of the fight would have been half as long and twice as bright
that's because they've had years to practice when delsin absorbs powers he doesn't get all exp that they had he either drains core relays or train and develop the powers like they did I don't know why people assume delsin can't do this just because he doesn't in the game doesn't mean he can't train he's on a timetable, so the fastest and most efficient way is to get exp from core relays.

It's weird to think that delsin is stronger physically if they're both normal. I'd understand speed but cole just looks so big that you'd think he'd have more strength.
I mean builds don’t always *directly* translate into strength. People with big builds can typically leverage their size but in my experience smaller people can pack more power. Also, I’d image he made that choice because with Delsin we SEE at least one feat of strength (him lifting the car off of Reggie). With Cole I don’t know if we see any physical prowess in lifting/breaking things through raw might alone

Idk I feel like Cole would be able to get the upper hand since half of Delsin's abilities require electricity such as neon lights and TV. Once Cole sees Delsin switching powers from these 2 sources Cole would just start absorbing the power sources to deprive Delsin his variety and force him to use solely smoke but then again since they're destroying a lot of stuff maybe there'd be enough smoke for Delsin to be okay. Then there's Delsin's weapon which is a heated chain to which I feel Cole would simply try to force through the pain, grab the chain and shock Delsin either making him drop it or also work through the pain and try to turn up the heat if he could though I doubt it. Well maybe for video but neon doesn't directly require electricity to be neon. It is a gas after all. But I suppose you're right about electrocuting him.
Correction: Cole's Polarity Wall can shield him from more than just bullets. He was able to shield himself from Kessler's Lightning attacks. This tells us that Cole can shield himself from non-bullets projectiles and in fact shield himself and convert the energy from it into his own body. Even against Delsin this can play into Cole's favor.

The only real difference between Hero Delsin and Infamous Delsin is that Infamous Delsin is much more of a psychopath and fights much more aggressively than Hero Delsin, who fights much more conservatively. Other than that, there really isn't a difference as they share the same powers. So to answer Strawberry Milk here, Evil Cole vs Evil Delsin really wouldn't be that different from this matchup or his second matchup depending on which Evil Cole you're using. Evil Cole from Infamous 2 pretty much trumps any Infamous character 1 on 1. Evil Cole from Infamous 1 still loses to Evil Delsin because of his much more aggressive tendencies.
I think Cole could beat easily Delsin using the shockwave and lightning storm moves sure Delsin can run faster but Cole can use the shockwave to stop Delsin in his tracks and be slowing falling into the ground and Cole uses Lighting Storm to finish him off or if Delsin is trying to beat Cole with his chain then Cole can just use his gigawatt blades to kill or capture him.

From what I can tell… The conduit gene in infamous 1 was in its infancy state, which you can tell by the very basic types of powers that conduits had (telekineses, electrokinesis, substance induced mind control, and so on) where probably the most complex powers were owned by Sasha, who controlled some sort of biogenic substance that could absorb energy, cause plagues, and control minds. But still, it was just a secreted and reproducible substance. … In infamous 2, there were many more conduit powers which could create or control entire biological structures, like Bertrand and Nix. There were also more efficient technologies for awakening powers, like what happened with Kuo, due to Kessler working with and teaching Wolfe much more than Wolfe would’ve known in Kessler’s original timeline (Kessler gave Wolfe a head-start for his research in Cole’s Timeline). … All of this, along with the Beast activating conduits who could’ve found some way to hide or may have been experimented on to have their powers/genes contained by the several organizations interested in conduit powers, makes it possible for the conduit gene to have still been around and developing by Second Son. … By the third game, taking place 7 years later, the Conduit Gene is so complex that powers range from simple chemical reactions to man-made technologies like “Video.” So, it’s really no surprise that a young version of Cole, who’s maybe the first person to have their conduit genes activated in his timeline, would lose to someone who has probably the most complex/developed conduit power: the ability to absorb others’ conduit powers and immediately have control over them. --- I really wish they would make a Kessler game though or something to see what the original timeline looked like, as well as how strong he was in his prime, since he admits that he’s gotten extremely weak by the time he fights with Cole.
Hrm....Delsin would have to be go off Gameplay 'limitations' and into more of Lore just to have as much Condiit energy as he could like in the old InFamous 1 comics showing. besides, one doesn't need to have a large wave of Concrete heading straight for you or 1000+ Video-made flying soldiers surrounding you many times over if said-Conduit could just spam Conduit Smoke-made grenades simply towards Korra's feet catcjing her off guard and her clear breathing. (and as well quickly try and knock her out closely or Video sword trap her to the ground before she could airbend said-Smoke out of her temporarily blinded vision).

Delsin actually has a really good chance of winning. One Cole would nor be able to suck power from his video and neon powers like others are saying. Delsin's Neon power is based light while video is more waves than actual electricity. Another argument is Cole getting rid of Delsins power sources. Thing is Delsin could do the same. It'd be a lot easier. Delsin isn't helpess without his video ro Neon he could do just fine. Getting rid of electric sources in the area would hurt Cole a lot more. Especially considering he becomes a regular person when out of energy. Delsin could find smoke sources or even make some if he destroys shit. As in attacks Cole has more variety technique wise but Delsin is good at utilizing his powers. Especially with the fact he can do stuff like turning invisible he has a lot of maneuvers. We're considering the fact Delsin is a lot more adaptable then Cole. Delsin solved his problems with his enemies way faster than Cole. Even though smaller threats still it counts for something. Given the time that would probably occur between the end of the game and this match Delsin could easily develop more of his abilites and skills. Or even just his tactics. Especially when it comes to concrete earthy materials are easily a great defense against the electricity. It'd be hard for Cole to fight that. Though if not allowed it would still be a good fight. Delsin could win in a lot of way. Even as easy as incapacitating Cole with smoke. Cole isn't invincible and would also probably retain burns from the chain. You have to get on that Delsin could hurt Cole he's not invincible. Also Delsin could dodge Cole's ionic attacks.

I think there's a flaw in the reason of not giving him concrete, gameplay more often than not does not show the true potential of a character, I think the the reason he can only absorb concrete from specific sources is to stop him from being OP, since concrete is literally everywhere where theirs human settlement.

Its not that Delsin can not absorb Cole powers its just that if he does he will leave himself defenseless because he will lose all his own powers unless he gets he hands on some blast shards to turn his powers back on. While Cole's will return so draining someone else's powers when you don't have the ability to reactive his own would be a bad idea.
which means....he would have to have Abigail, Eugene, or any friendly Conduit that he has managed to connect with after the main IF:SS events, trying to back him up and protect him by running away with his unconscious body the moment he does do another Conduit buffet searching and does do it successfully. which, most of the time he glides around the city and elsewhere alone. other than his pre-Physically dead brother if he's too far out to reach to Delsin before the opposing Conduit (in this case, Cole) wakes back up.
I find this highly unlikely as Delsin is not stupid and wouldn't make the same mistake twice he would know that if he comes into physical contact with Cole it's over for him. I think Delsin would try to avoid this and wait until he defeats Cole before taking his powers would be the smartest decision that way Cole would have no chance to beat Delsin before he collects all the blast shards he needs to get his other powers back.
That was simply his corrupt plan during the Evil alternative path. maybe he did do the same for the canonical ending too? but respectively he didn't want to freak out Hundreds of genuinely freed Conduits there, All of them, by having himself and one of their friended cellmates just suddenly loosing consciousness for several amounts of time after shaking hands. maybe just about 12+ that he's gotten to try out instead of sucking a large population of the former Curden Cay prisoners in this nice path of the hero route.
Delsin (and many other Conduit-characters that we know of after the Cole Mcgrath-InFamous games) has a lot more of Conduit-capable mobility than Cole's, both Gameplay-wise and Lore-wise (20:24).... now if Present Day-Cole being more experienced Years later (not too far old like future-Cole though yet) and inheriting Kessler's known shown capabilities than Cole has not yet reached or has them but still young and growing slowly needing more forms of upgrades, he could just keep on speed-teleporting like Kessler does, making it having an equal mobility footing with Delsin's current mobile capabilities. if Cole had reached that possibility anyways.
That would be interesting, but Delsin wins hands down. He's as fast as light (Radio and Neon are both light speed), can avoid getting touched with smoke alone, and is able to deal enough damage to hurt Deku, since swords from normal people could injure, let alone something like a smoke/ash enhanced chain that's getting whipped around by a hypersonic opponent.

Unfortunately for Delsin, Heller has way too much going for him in this fight. Stronger, faster, is a more well-rounded fighter, has military and combat experience, and has more abilities that could end the fight quickly. Delsin is a ranged fighter while Heller is a close range fighter. Finally Heller has survived injuries that would have left Delsin a bloody pulp.

Delsin have weaker version of the powers because the main power of delsin is absorbtion he need to absorb the energy of the Core relays yo keep upgrading his own versión of that power so he can make a powerful versión of the powers he absorb if he can manage to get a lot of Core relays
I imagine cole would start thinking delsin is a good guy during their fight then would lead delsin to him and zekes rooftop and all drink a beer together. so this version of the fight would have been half as long and twice as bright
that's because they've had years to practice when delsin absorbs powers he doesn't get all exp that they had he either drains core relays or train and develop the powers like they did I don't know why people assume delsin can't do this just because he doesn't in the game doesn't mean he can't train he's on a timetable, so the fastest and most efficient way is to get exp from core relays.

It's weird to think that delsin is stronger physically if they're both normal. I'd understand speed but cole just looks so big that you'd think he'd have more strength.

I mean builds don’t always *directly* translate into strength. People with big builds can typically leverage their size but in my experience smaller people can pack more power. Also, I’d image he made that choice because with Delsin we SEE at least one feat of strength (him lifting the car off of Reggie). With Cole I don’t know if we see any physical prowess in lifting/breaking things through raw might alone

Idk I feel like Cole would be able to get the upper hand since half of Delsin's abilities require electricity such as neon lights and TV. Once Cole sees Delsin switching powers from these 2 sources Cole would just start absorbing the power sources to deprive Delsin his variety and force him to use solely smoke but then again since they're destroying a lot of stuff maybe there'd be enough smoke for Delsin to be okay. Then there's Delsin's weapon which is a heated chain to which I feel Cole would simply try to force through the pain, grab the chain and shock Delsin either making him drop it or also work through the pain and try to turn up the heat if he could though I doubt it. Maybe I'm just not seeing your entire points either way I enjoyed the video, thanks.

Correction:
Cole's Polarity Wall can shield him from more than just bullets. He was able to shield himself from Kessler's Lightning attacks. This tells us that Cole can shield himself from non-bullets projectiles and in fact shield himself and convert the energy from it into his own body. Even against Delsin this can play into Cole's favor.

The only real difference between Hero Delsin and Infamous Delsin is that Infamous Delsin is much more of a psychopath and fights much more aggressively than Hero Delsin, who fights much more conservatively.
Other than that, there really isn't a difference as they share the same powers. So to answer Strawberry Milk here, Evil Cole vs Evil Delsin really wouldn't be that different from this matchup or his second matchup depending on which Evil Cole you're using.
Evil Cole from Infamous 2 pretty much trumps any Infamous character 1 on 1.
Evil Cole from Infamous 1 still loses to Evil Delsin because of his much more aggressive tendencies.

I think Cole could beat easily Delsin using the shockwave and lightning storm moves sure Delsin can run faster but Cole can use the shockwave to stop Delsin in his tracks and be slowing falling into the ground and Cole uses Lighting Storm to finish him off or if Delsin is trying to beat Cole with his chain then Cole can just use his gigawatt blades to kill or capture him.

The conduit gene in infamous 1 was in its infancy state, which you can tell by the very basic types of powers that conduits had (telekineses, electrokinesis, substance induced mind control, and so on) where probably the most complex powers were owned by Sasha, who controlled some sort of biogenic substance that could absorb energy, cause plagues, and control minds. But still, it was just a secreted and reproducible substance.

In infamous 2, there were many more conduit powers which could create or control entire biological structures, like Bertrand and Nix. There were also more efficient technologies for awakening powers, like what happened with Kuo, due to Kessler working with and teaching Wolfe much more than Wolfe would’ve known in Kessler’s original timeline (Kessler gave Wolfe a head-start for his research in Cole’s Timeline).

All of this, along with the Beast activating conduits who could’ve found some way to hide or may have been experimented on to have their powers/genes contained by the several organizations interested in conduit powers, makes it possible for the conduit gene to have still been around and developing by Second Son.

By the third game, taking place 7 years later, the Conduit Gene is so complex that powers range from simple chemical reactions to man-made technologies like “Video.”
So, it’s really no surprise that a young version of Cole, who’s maybe the first person to have their conduit genes activated in his timeline, would lose to someone who has probably the most complex/developed conduit power: the ability to absorb others’ conduit powers and immediately have control over them.

Delsin actually has a really good chance of winning. One Cole would nor be able to suck power from his video and neon powers like others are saying. Delsin's Neon power is based light while video is more waves than actual electricity. Another argument is Cole getting rid of Delsins power sources. Thing is Delsin could do the same. It'd be a lot easier. Delsin isn't helpess without his video ro Neon he could do just fine. Getting rid of electric sources in the area would hurt Cole a lot more. Especially considering he becomes a regular person when out of energy. Delsin could find smoke sources or even make some if he destroys shit. As in attacks Cole has more variety technique wise but Delsin is good at utilizing his powers. Especially with the fact he can do stuff like turning invisible he has a lot of maneuvers. We're considering the fact Delsin is a lot more adaptable then Cole. Delsin solved his problems with his enemies way faster than Cole. Even though smaller threats still it counts for something. Given the time that would probably occur between the end of the game and this match Delsin could easily develop more of his abilites and skills. Or even just his tactics. Especially when it comes to concrete earthy materials are easily a great defense against the electricity. It'd be hard for Cole to fight that. Though if not allowed it would still be a good fight. Delsin could win in a lot of way. Even as easy as incapacitating Cole with smoke. Cole isn't invincible and would also probably retain burns from the chain. You have to get on that Delsin could hurt Cole he's not invincible. Also Delsin could dodge Cole's ionic attacks.

I think there's a flaw in the reason of not giving him concrete, gameplay more often than not does not show the true potential of a character, I think the the reason he can only absorb concrete from specific sources is to stop him from being OP, since concrete is literally everywhere where theirs human settlement.

Here's a question. Since Cole's body constantly needs electrify, would Delsin be able to drain his powers and leave him defenseless?
Its not that Delsin can not absorb Cole powers its just that if he does he will leave himself defenseless because he will lose all his own powers unless he gets he hands on some blast shards to turn his powers back on. While Cole's will return so draining someone else's powers when you don't have the ability to reactive his own would be a bad idea.
which means....he would have to have Abigail, Eugene, or any friendly Conduit that he has managed to connect with after the main IF:SS events, trying to back him up and protect him by running away with his unconscious body the moment he does do another Conduit buffet searching and does do it successfully.
which, most of the time he glides around the city and elsewhere alone. other than his pre-Physically dead brother if he's too far out to reach to Delsin before the opposing Conduit (in this case, Cole) wakes back up.

I find this highly unlikely as Delsin is not stupid and wouldn't make the same mistake twice he would know that if he comes into physical contact with Cole it's over for him. I think Delsin would try to avoid this and wait until he defeats Cole before taking his powers would be the smartest decision that way Cole would have no chance to beat Delsin before he collects all the blast shards he needs to get his other powers back.

Delsin (and many other Conduit-characters that we know of after the Cole Mcgrath-InFamous games) has a lot more of Conduit-capable mobility than Cole's, both Gameplay-wise and Lore-wise (20:24)....
now if Present Day-Cole being more experienced Years later (not too far old like future-Cole though yet) and inheriting Kessler's known shown capabilities than Cole has not yet reached or has them but still young and growing slowly needing more forms of upgrades, he could just keep on speed-teleporting like Kessler does, making it having an equal mobility footing with Delsin's current mobile capabilities. if Cole had reached that possibility anyways.

That would be interesting, but Delsin wins hands down. He's as fast as light (Radio and Neon are both light speed), can avoid getting touched with smoke alone, and is able to deal enough damage to hurt Deku, since swords from normal people could injure, let alone something like a smoke/ash enhanced chain that's getting whipped around by a hypersonic opponent.

Yes, I agree with this while Deku does have better “attack potency” Delsin outclasses him in other categories such as range, durability, mobility, versatility and regeneration. I could argue a similar case for Delsin(smoke only) vs Bakagou or Todoroki vs Delsin(neon and smoke).

@@CaptainPilipinas concrete would only buy him time and not very much to begin with. Remember that Heller has torn apart tanks with his bare hands so concrete won't do much. Unfortunately for Delsin, Heller has way too much going for him in this fight. Stronger, faster, is a more well-rounded fighter, has military and combat experience, and has more abilities that could end the fight quickly. Delsin is a ranged fighter while Heller is a close range fighter. Finally Heller has survived injuries that would have left Delsin a bloody pulp.
