Thank you, Annette!! Funny thing is that I had no idea about my compassion until people like you started pointing it out! I'm learning from you guys! thanks! (:
42 years old this year. Still doea what it did back when I waited at theaters when i was 10 years old. Waited for 14 hours at theater for the forat showing
Another bit of trivia I have read was that E.T. came from the "Star Wars" galaxy. Hence E.T.'s excitement meeting Yoda in the Halloween scene. George Lucas is a good friend of Spielberg's. The E.T. creature also did a cameo in one of his later "Star Wars" sequels.
Watching (or listening to) something from the 80ies always brings back good memories, and I'm so happy to grew up in this decade! 😊 This movie is definitely a milestone in history, and I'm glad they never did a sequel! 😅 It was nice to rewatch it again with you guys! Thank you for your honest and unbiased reaction, and for sharing your thoughts again! 😉 In my humble opinion the best way to watch a movie is to know as little as possible about it, so the story and its impact can effect you as intense as it's meant to be by the filmmakers! And I got the impression you two prefer that, too?! If it is so, it makes your reactions even more authentic and amiable! 😊 If a trailer already tells you about a plot twist for example, then watching the movie can't be that good anymore! I learned that when I was watching 'From dusk till dawn' without knowing anything - and I was as shocked as everybody else in this mexican bar of the movie! The impact was unmatched!!
Yeah, what you are saying makes sense. So many trailers nowadays give away the whole damn movie. I trailer should not be longer than 90 seconds. Cheers! (:
5:03 of anyone remembers Drew Barrymore saying do you wanna call somebody, was a long distance commercial back in the 80's. AT&T i believe. Also this is the movie that Reeses Pieces made it debut. They sold more Reeses pieces than any other candy Till date. Meaning no other candy has ever sold as many as Reeses pieces ever
Hi Jona, believe it or not, but both movies are already on the list. And I also just saw that "Harold and Kumar" is a trilogy. Have a great weekend as well, we'll be at the Silicon Beach Film Festival. (:
Awww Mike just love you and genuine compassion. I love hearing both of your comments of the movies writers. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. ❤

Must have been quite magical to see this at 10 years of age... (:
E.T., the most human of extraterrestrials.
Aw, that's nice! I like it! (:
thanks for your thoughts.
And thank YOU!! (:

Yes, I did read something like that as well, but I don't know anything about "Star Wars." Interesting trivia though. Thanks for sharing! (:
I agree with your thoughts, Mike.
Thanks for checking it out! Cheers! (:

Interesting trivia. Harrison Ford's first wife wrote the screenplay.
That's indeed a trivia I didn't come across. Thanks for sharing! (:

Yep, Reese's sales went up 300%. (:
ET… remove the E&T from Elliot and there is ET…. I always forget how emotional this movie is… Spielberg is great for the real emotion…
Yeah, we were so surprised at how emotional this movie was. Thankfully it had a happy ending! (:
