    I like blocking the cards, but not blurred. You can see the colors they have still and we can see you're losing the hand on the river. Maybe freeze frame the cards like Bart Hanson does

    I really like when you block out your opponents cards too. Makes it way more interesting.
    Love the drone footage, the nature clips around the park and the into and outro outside.
    'you guys get the idea' is a phrase that you have started to overuse a little lately but it's a minor point. Well done on such a successful year Mariano and I wish you all the best in 2023. I know Uncle Ernie is proud of you, a very nice man I met and played with at the Golden Nugget in July. You and Brad are my favourite two bloggers. ✌🏼

    Blur it how it is with an added black and white filter over the layer. It will keep the cleaner look of the blur over a block rectangle, but also hide what colors the cards are.

    Respect Mariano, you've jumped up to these huge stakes and are getting results and holding your own with sound play and minimal punts. I dony know how much studying you do, if you do, but I think it would be a great thing to touch on in a vlog or separate video. Well done bud.

    Definitely prefer being able to see the opponent's cards. I think it helps me understand the dynamics of the action much better, knowing what the opponents are playing and how they're playing it. Combined with your analysis it makes a perfect combo.

  • @lukestechschulte1211
    @lukestechschulte1211 ปีที่แล้ว +8

    Love having them blurred out. It puts me more into your mind and makes me learn more Vs. rooting for you to call/fold based off of knowing and seeing the equity/other person's hand

  • @StonerCreek74
    @StonerCreek74 ปีที่แล้ว +9

    I LIKE being able to see the cards in most cases because it gives me the opportunity to study the way each person plays depending on cards, stack size, position and so on. Not that I'll ever be playing with these guys but it gives me a broader understanding overall of the complete game and why who is doing what. I geuss if you aren't really into that kind of analysis its more entertaining watching from Mario's POV and not knowing.

    I like how you block the cards too it was pretty neat because it actually gave us a real view on whether or not we were right about what the other person's hand was and got to watch you play your hand out and actually try to get real reeds on the person without seeing their cars making it super easy for us so yes please continue to block out the opponents cards

  • @intrepidus3378
    @intrepidus3378 ปีที่แล้ว

    I can't believe you got that guy to fold AK on the first hand. The power of the check-raise bluff is more potent on earlier streets. People are not just facing a decision point there but can expect some tough decisions on later streets. The river is a one-off.

    Personally I prefer seeing the opponent's cards, makes your decision making more interesting 🤔. Whichever way though, your vlogs are excellent 👍. I can only dream of playing to your level. In England, the 1-1 game I play at our local casino, seems to revolve around most players going in with crap hands and hoping to hit which unfortunately they often do. To say their hands are disguised is an understatement cos they can have absolutely anything. Good luck to you

    IMO one or two hands from each time that are like tough spots or hard thinking hands are good to blur out and is like a mini quiz in between the other hands. Not every hand but a few that are good for learning or putting yourself to the test I think is good.

    Hey Mariano! Thanks for an absolutely worldclass vlog! Keep up the good work and the grinding on the tables! 🚂🚂🚂
    I understand your take on the first hand of the night but I would reckon however that since you check 3 times (how often does one do that with value hands really when the opponent also checked back flop and turn?) that the opponent should be able to find a call there with any Ax holdings. I would have called anyhow. Your bluff worked however so nicely done assessing the situation and the opponent. Keep up the good work!
