    I appreciate and poker vloggers including hands that did not go well that they may or may not have made the correct decision. Most of the time anyone that second guesses the action wouldn't have such an easy time if it was thousands of dollars of their own money on the line. But including those hands instead of including only the hands that make you look like a genius is appreciated by most real players.

    You are the best player on TH-cam IMO. I love hearing your thought process as you go through hands. The way you played the A8 hand was incredible, however I do think a raise on the turn or an all in on the river were the +EV plays.

    • @sportspokerguy3506
      @sportspokerguy3506 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JimmyRingz sports in America are primarily run by the school system - there are club teams and good players play on them but it’s not funded like the Youth leagues for Man U or something like that. And since schools control the sports - football and boys soccer occur in the same season, fall, and the demand of either sport is too big to dedicate proper time to both sports. And in America, football is the “cool” most popular sport, so soccer suffers a lot. If soccer was a spring sport it might do a little better, but spring is baseball season, lacrosse season, and track and field season. So soccer just has too much to compete with in America between football and baseball which are popular because of the country’s history. There is not interest in changing this because the NFL and MLB want the best athletes going into their sports - not soccer. And MLS doesn’t have the $$$ to compete with the NFL or MLB.

You’ve got great senses while in hands (HU or with multiple players), and you have the calmness in you to put new pieces of info together, overthrow whatever you have established, reevaluate and then execute. Being the aggressive player at the table can get tricky, I've been there, you keep making aggressive plays, making people fold marginal hands whether you have it or not, betting big for value and leave them wondering if they got bluffed instead of the little milk bets, an interesting thing happens... Normally tight players start showing up with A9s all in pre(last night vs me) or JTs for 30k on the turn, they're reacting to your aggression with aggression of their own and make plays vs YOU specifically that they'd never make vs normal opponents, this is amazing when you have a hand that can take the heat but can be problematic in spots like 2 pair below top 2 because normally you're crushed but sometimes it's crazy counter-aggresion. It's best to have a plan with your bets before you make them, like CR-call, CR-fold and if you don't like either option reconsider the CR, this is a good hand to counter triple barrels with, you don't want to be capped at AJ on the river vs a thinking opponent. I love your content, you always make things interesting!

    Firstable, of course is not the same playing, then actually seen it. Having said that, I would never fold two pairs like A6, Charlles was flufing, of course, we dont kmow that, however, you have to take into consideration that maybe you had the best hand to begin with . Normally its a good possibilyty that you would make a fullhouse, second, again you dont know whether or not he does has it or not, but of course we dont know that, now this is my OPINION, if I have A6 just like you had there is no way, I am folding two pair, why, because it is hard in poker to make or have or even get the chance to make anything at all, you have to, but of course, sometimes you have to play this game like a non-believer, you have too see whats his holding, that was your first mistake you made on the hand. The second even bigger mistake was letting it go the two pairs, amean who does that, it like giving away your money and if that is the way, I am now at the Dominican Republic, of course, deported for some bull in which I still dont believe am I am deported, specially leaving in the United States since 1991 with my green card, what I am teying to say, Believe it or not my DEPORTATION was Unlawful and ridiculous, why because, I've been in the States since 1991 which means, is over 20+years and not only that, my case is the samething happened to Jose Padilla vs the state of Kentucky, what happened to his cadr was that he was convicted to a crime of misteneanor and he was never advice that by pleading to case in which he was convicted he would have immigration consequence and because of this reason he was not deported back to his native country. Anyway back to the subject of Poker in which I remembet a good scenario with your best friend Rampage, I like the way he plays, I think for the most part that his Poker game is better then yours, I am sorry, but I am keeping it 100% honest with you, I am not a great Poker player, however, I would of never folded the two pairz A6 like never.... But, finally for future refenses do not fold hands that are good to play with. Good luck next time and over all nice hand.

    Mariano is a product of his attitude, outlook and ego (in the philosophical sense). All appear positive in his vlogs, and I believe this attributes to his success. Yes, he is a skilled poker player, but there is more to the equation than just skill. Being "in touch" with his inner self gives him an empathic ability to sniff out things that even most highly skilled poker players miss. I may be wrong, just an assessment, but also why I love watching him play poker.

    Mariano’s poker brain works different than other pros. His swings are humongous because is evident in this clip. Sometimes big wins sometimes big losses.

    I used to play 1/3 with Mariano and I went all-in with AA and stole his big blind! It was a boss move!

    Born in Argentina and raised til 7? How do you speak English like someone who is born here but that's their only language?????? I'm assuming English, Particularly American English, is your second language. That's impressive as fuck.

    I love how you win 7980.00 then say “not a big pot or anything” that’s about my yearly poker money! I love watching your videos! Good luck in 2023!

      LoL I laughed at that part too. Even a year b4 winning $8 thousand was huge for Mariano too.

    "What better hand to turn it around than.... 98s." I think people don't fully appreciate the dry humor, but it's that that keeps them coming back for more. I mean, along with the stupid big pots and sparkling analysis.

    You seem surprised by his play. Imo any good poker player should surprise you from time to time. If not there going to not be a good player long. In my time of 25 years playing the game has changed. In the 90s it was reading people. It progressed to being super aggressive. Then moved into GTO and playing a computer aided style to maximize profit over the long run. Now great players are starting to play against that by playing somewhat random or just playing the opposite of what a GTO move would be.

    Charles was bluffing whole night! He was even showing his bluffs!,you didn’t pay attention to that!…really bad fold.

  • @spoder22

    I think you have to shove river in the A8dd hand vs Charles. You are very polarized on the river and all your value hands want to go big because you’ll never be value-owning yourself; he’s very capped when he checks river.
