Hi everyone I had to make a repair on the suspension today as a couple of bolts were missing and and it was a matter of time that the other bolts would have broken. Thanks for watching 🤓👍
Looks like the bottom bolt has sheared maybe from over tightening some while back. This put pressure on the bolt above which over time eventually loosed its grip and then stripped the threads. Well done with nice solution and good to see George back on the road again..
Maybe it's just an optical illusion but on the drivers side at 2:07 there looks to be light coming through the body work like there is a crack near shock that is ok.
@@hujiproductions8457 Just had a look at what you are saying 👍. Look like a spit on video but it's OK. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching 👍🤓
When I saw the tittle to your video I thought it would be trunnion problems but it wasn't , I'm sure someone in the past has tried to fix it not that well and its loosened over time and finally the bolts have fallen off. As the holes had enlarged welding the threaded bolt should hold it.

@@woowoo883classiccars Excellent news, glad you got George fixed again btw 🙂
It may be worth helicoling that stripped thread. Have you tired to run a tap through it? Hope you manage to sort it.
@@matthewadam9577 hopefully it will hold now fingers crossed 🤞.
