not just for movement predictions but for predictions in general, what I like to do is weigh their options, pick what they're most likely to choose and counter it. keep in mind their ability timers, dodge timers and health to try to predict what they're going to do next.

At 2:24 does like flicking your cross hair like fake them into dodging where you flicked your camera or did you just do it to get the angle for the hook prediction. For the prediction how do you know when their going to dodge into the hook. Is there a way to bait them into dodging where you want them to?
Yeah, we had a series for the tournament abt a month ago. They were close duels but I won 6-3. He's a very skilled player, but I think he was a bit out of practice at the time.
I'd say mouse and key board is best, followed closely by controller while playing with claw grip, and then ordinary controller grip is probably the worst, although still not bad

what about spinning in a circle then going for a prediction hook swing like that? Would you say that’s effective?
As in predicting they'll dodge towards you, and then doing a 180 and jump attacking? Because that works fantastically.

No, you can't really bait them, you need to observe their movement and guess where they are going to go

Honestly the hook move is not something that is ment to be in the game. And people who use it just end up spamming it.
