ours just says W06001 Warning cross cut sheet, can't figure out why

My FC8600 tries to cut with the plotter blade, rather than the cross cut, any idea ?

I just had this issue and after doing this troubleshooting it totally fixed the problem. Same model. Pretty easy, unless you can't reach the buttons & on/off switch at the same time, you may need a second person.... I know I did!
