    I liked your video and the detail in which you described everything. One issue I had with the video was the inconsistent sound which was very annoying to deal with on a computer while wearing headphones. I had to switch the volume back and forth and adjust my expectations from stereo to mono (in one ear, blended would have been much better).

    Wish you would’ve shown how the machine reads the crops and how to actually cut using the software

    thanks fo this, although I wish you had shown the final result and how you actually got the cutter to read the registration marks

    This has been driving me crazy but thank you for simplifying. Im trying to print and cut multiple copies of one graphic. Im using a large format printer, printing off of a roll. Thanks to this video I have gotten to the point where im able to print and get the cutter to accept the sheet and cut the shape but its not lining up correctly and it cuts through the graphic.
    Im thinking i have to be sure the preview (what I see when i click the cutter window button) looks correct but how do I know if its correct? Also, After its cuts, it goes back and cuts a box around the graphic. I can see the box in the preview, just dont know how to get rid of it?? Yep its been a headache. Love to hear any tips.

      Hello! When you click on the cutter, the preview should show where your image layout will be. For the weed border, you will turn off the weed border in your settings, in Graphtec Studio. Normally only one sheet can be done at a time with the CE6000 line.

      @@CoastalBusinessSup Thank you for the reply. Im still trying. I solved the box issue. It wasnt a weed border but a box that was there from the imported artwork somehow which brought up another question of what is the proper file format for graphtec studio.At any rate, I do see the preview and its seems to look liek it should but apparently its not, so, Im wondering how do I make sure the preview is lined up/matches my printed sheet? searching everywhere for this issue, Ill just keep trying

      Hello! The file format for Graphtec Studio, for saved files, is .gstudio. Can you send a screenshot of what you are seeing to support@coastalbusiness.com and we can take a look. Thanks!

    Hello my friend. Are you alright? I'm Brazilian and I would like to know if you can help me with something. Currently I work using Silhouette CAMEO 3 and I am checking out the possibility of buying a Graphtec CE 6000-60. You could help me by answering some questions I have about Graphtec:
    1- Is my cutting material used for photographic paper, for use with Graphtec do I need to use a cutting base?
    2- Currently I have several models of pieces that open in Silhouette Studio. Is there a way for these files to open in Graphtec Studio?
    3. Do you think it is worth buying a Graphtec machine, considering its efficiency and speed in cutting?
    Thank you for your attention, and I congratulate you on the content of the channel.
    Greetings,
    Fábio.

    I've watch this video over and over and followed every step. My cutter is not able to read the registration marks. I've placed the paper all over the place in the cutter and it still giving me an error. What am I doing wrong

      Hello! Are you placing the blade in the front, top right corner, in the middle of the registration mark? Thank you!

    If I wanted to make an outdoor print and put a sheet of laminate over it, will the optical eye still be able to see the registration marks? We have bought your paper and other stuff and we also have a CE6000. Just curious if it could be used when laminating the print. Thanks for this video

    • @CoastalBusinessSup
      @CoastalBusinessSup  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +brown55061 You actually could laminate and still have it read it. You may however need to re-calibrate the optical sensor for it to pick it up correctly. Though this is just completed through the main menu on the machine.

      Thank you. You would bring your image in to the software program, and then trace your entire image, and then delete the first image brought in.

      @@CoastalBusinessSup thanks I'm not sure that answer is not detail enough and leads to other questions. I was looking for a video that shows how to use this cutter to create stencils. I think the answer is there is not one.

      We do not have a video. Our process that we do with this software, and cutter, varies from the process you are needing assistance with.

      Hi, thanks! Do I need sublimation ink for this?
      Is that Epson WF-7010 using sublimation ink?
      Can my Canon S9000 use your Coastal Inkjet Opaque heat transfer paper?

    • @CoastalBusinessSup
      @CoastalBusinessSup  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      trat50 Coastal Inkjet Opaque only requires an inkjet printer, not a sublimation printer. The Epson WF7010 can use sublimation ink - we carry a bulk ink set-up for it. I'm not sure if the Canon you're referring to is inkjet or laser, but we do carry transfer papers for both. Here's a link to all of our transfer papers available - www.coastalbusiness.com/heat-transfer-paper.aspx

    if i have to use ink instead of vinyl which printer you will recommend

    • @madmedia3380
      @madmedia3380 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      depends on your intended use. If your looking to make commercial quality items for business purposes, for example, you may want to look at solvent printers since they can print on a wide variety of media for indoor and outdoor use. . If its just a personal hobby, I found Epson and cannon printers to be some of the better ones. Something with at least 4 separate ink tanks and the highest resolution you are comfortable paying for.Its more about the media the printer will accept and the sheet size you want. Just know that most printers use pigment/dye based inks that may fade over time unless you protect the prints.
