Very informative. You left the tool setting on Condition 2 at Pen. The cutting will not compensate for the installed blade offset leaving poor Start / Stop alignments. Graphtec automatically set the correct offset when you select the blade type. You can adjust it manually but this is generally not required when using their blades.

my plotter cuts very deep in some parts of the piece and in others it doesn't even touch it. could be the band

I am using a Vevor KW 870 D cutter I just recently purchased. I guess as soon as I learn how to adjust the blade, it will cut nicely...but my immediate problem is the pinch rollers are leaving demarcations on my vinyl as it cuts. I cannot find ANY support anywhere for that cutter! So I am here hoping some kind soul with cutter experience will help me out :( I can find no digital setting for them on the cutter "menu," I cannot fig out any way to release any pressure they are currently set at. On the back of the machine, on each roller carriage, there are 2 screws that apparently apply/release pressure if you tighten/loosen them--or so you would think--and I have tried to loosen them---3 tiny turns each screw on each roller---but I see ZERO change in the demarcation! However, my vinyl sheet drifts---ugh... Can someone please advise on how to fix this? I cannot in good conscience sell cuts with demarcations running thru them!! AND I HAVE ORDERS! Thanks in advance!

The adhesive residue, do not use fingernails. either a plastic blade but those ultra cheap white squeegee are perfect for adhesive removal., and reaplying the strip.
