Half Korean here and this makes me feel all cozy. This is the kind of cozy creativity I love and I have seen Korean students and vloggers produce similar combinations. Building flavour and taking a shortcut here and there (of course the vloggers will top it off with something like rounds of hotdog, spam etc
Nigella, you have been such an inspiration throughout my life! I found your shows many years ago when I had the privilege of living in the U.K. You and I both lost our mothers around the same age and I find your recipe videos to be incredibly comforting when I am missing her the most. Especially your Christmas episodes. I find such inspiration in your ability to manifest joy and beauty in often simple ingredients made decadent, and of course the well-deserved fancy ingredients. The way you describe food is like poetry. I not only learn new recipes, but my vocabulary has increased exponentially. I can only imagine how much fun it would be cooking a meal with you while sipping on a cocktail. Thank you for sharing your life with us, even with the things you perceive as flaws. They're not flaws, they make you even more perfect. You've always been so honest with the public and I think that is both noble, rare, and worthy of all of praise. Please don't stop saying "meekro-wavay." It's become a household term in my family because of that episode. I thought it was absolutely adorable. You speak the Queen's English but throw in your own cheeky neologisms that make you 3-dimensional. Thank you
Omg nigella. I didn't know you were still alive? My grandad used to follow your cooking when he was a youngster . I really thought you would no longer be cooking. Such a great surprise
🎄I hope you see this and have a GREAT Christmas Nigella! You've brought so much love and kindness to us, and hopefully you realize this...Thank you sweetie ❤🎄
Yes I think so, you can even cook spaghetti separately and add it to the sauce for it's last 2 minutes of cooking, orzo usually cooks pretty quickly so it's easy to do the way she is :)
Yeah, I do something similar with spaghetti and I use minced garlic instead of garlic olive oil. Also with spaghetti I loosen up the sauce with cream instead of water. You can also use a fatty protein like bacon or guanciale into a cold pan first and cook the shallots and garlic in that fat for a bit of a flavor boost. I do the whole thing in a large wok
Ciao and thank you for your delicious recipe, which i like to share at Facebook, personally i ❤️ pasta, many greetings from brunswick in Germany and please stay safe 🙃
Oh I need to make this, I love these simple ideas with just a few ingredients, Nigella is so good with those recipes, also she mentions risotto, I just have to say that her Lemon Risotto is one of the most delicious things I've ever made, its something you dream about once you have it. Def recommend finding that recipe. (It's in her Nigella Bites cookbook and also on her website and on YT).
I am Italian, and I am confused :can someone tell me why nigella called orzo the risoni pasta? For us, italian, orzo is just barley and risoni is a type of pasta shaped like rice, but still pasta 🤔
Hi Nigella, I know that you, like me, have faced breast cancer, which is why I decided to reach out to you. My name is Nata, and I recently moved to Finland. My life has dramatically changed recently - first, I was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa and told that I would soon go blind, and then I found out that I have breast cancer. My mother died of breast cancer when I was a child. These two terrible diagnoses caught me in a foreign country, and I couldn’t return to my home country. It was very scary, and I fell into a deep depression, especially because of the prognosis of blindness. But I decided to take action and created my own cooking channel because I love cooking delicious food. Unfortunately, my channel has almost no viewers, and I don’t have the money to promote it. Maybe you could help me if you want and tell people about my channel. This channel is very important to me, but no one sees it. I want it to be visible to people. I would be very grateful for your help. Best wishes, Nata
Why do TH-camrs play annoyingly loud music when they giving instructions? Not necessary. Didn’t even get to end of recipe because the music was too loud, too annoying
Her choice of words is always impeccable which makes it sound more impactful and meaningful
and very demure, very mindful, very presentable and approachable.
"It's so essential in life, I think, to be able to sustain yourself, deliciously." *Love* this.

I love it when people are creative with cooking pasta. The paste is such a flavor bomb and I'm sure added so much depth to the orzo. Great dish 👏

Wow need to try this 😋 it looks delicious 🤩
Yummy yummy 😋
Only thing I'm missing is the orzo. I'm definitely giving this a shot soon.
Lovely. I suppose you could use any pasta, albeit you'll just have to cook it in a different pot and add some of the water to thicken the sauce.

Thank you for not covering your neck up anymore. It looks lovely. ❤
Hmmmm
She resembles a Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit a lot.❤
her choice of words makes it sound so majestic yet extremely erotic in a way?
🩵💙💜💙💙💙💜💙🩵
Excuse me? Where is a protein?
This is the primi, protein will be the secondi ;))
who cares what the purists say. I would add some frozen peas to this for an additional veg portion.
Oh great idea, love frozen peas :)
A side of asparagus, Brussel sprouts or broccolini would do it for me.
Cochineal chef
Frozen chopped onions 😅😅😅
