    I just bought a 2024 Camry XLE and I had the same rattling sound. I stumbled across this video this morning, went to Joanne’s Fabric with my wife and bought the material. This definitely works. Thank you!

    You’re the man. I just bought a 2018 XSE and was getting irritated with the chirping sound coming from the bass. To the point I just faded all my music to the front. I thought maybe it was the speaker that was the problem but after crawling back there I found it was exactly where you said, just beside it almost. I’m gonna try this, thanks for taking the time to upload.

    So I'm pushing a little bit more than the upgraded JBL system. I have a 12 inch JL audio and was having issues with the rattling. Your solution worked perfect. I had an old egg crate mattress topper that I cut 1 inch by 6 inch strips. Stop a bunch of them in there to the left right back and forth through the three small holes. I then took about a 10-inch by 10 in piece of egg crate foam and and put it on the bottom of the phone where the JBL speaker would have been mounted and stop the corners up in there. I only did two layers of that. Everything is solid but now my light is too close to the glass and I will end up putting rubber spacers in between to stop that rattle. But that's definitely helped out and got me to a further point and I do not have to take it to any car audio place that was going to charge me like $150

    If anyone is doubting this DIY - don't. It definitely works. I was having a nasty squishy rattle (idk if it was the same for all of you). However, with a good amount of that packaging material stuffed into all 4 holes (there were 4 in my 2019's trunk), it'll take away that extremely annoying high pitched rattle from the woofer.
    Thank you Kruff.

    • @PotatoeChipz
      @PotatoeChipz 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @TheRickaShade @diamondg7671 There's a thick template of dampening foam under the rear deck cover and it still doesn't address the real problem, unfortunately. The major vibrations/rattles, at least with mine, was coming from the C-pillar trims. I cut up 2 small pieces of thin rug, folded them in half and stuffed them between the right-most and left-most edge of the deck cover that meets the trim, making sure the carpet is snug between the two. Match carpet to deck cover and it won't look too silly. Hope this helps if you're still having issues!

    Wonder if a little spray foam would be quicker and easy. You basically just need something to keep the plastic deck from hitting the metal
