Last week I published a vlog from Lürssen's enormous refit facility in Hamburg, where "Jubilee" has recently arrived to undergo a one year refit.
Unfortunately due to concerns about confidentiality I was unable to film the yacht itself, so as a consolation to viewers who were hoping for a glimpse of the Igor Lobanov designed beauty...here is a vlog dedicated to her.

THIS IS WHY SOME OWNERS DON'T LIKE HAVING PHOTOS TAKEN ON MEGA YACHTS.
I think it may be more internal photos and some externals that may cause a future security risk ... hidden passages, hidden safes and vaults, tech to warn of incoming missiles, crew areas etc. especially in the build phase.
A lot of these mega rich are concerned and paraniod about pirates and other security threats to them and their families. If pirates know the details of the layouts they can more easily disable the crew, engineers, captain and find the owners cabin.
And some people just like privacy and to minimise their time in the spotlight. Often a boat is their sanctuary as well.
I know people who build real estate for the mega rich and they too will not let anyone walk through the house in the build phase for the same reasons.
Some even have to sign non disclosures to protect the whereabouts of safes in the house and secret escape routes.
Many mega yachts have secret escape routes, hidden passages, powerful tenders, submarines and helicopters on board as part of escape protocols for the owners and their family.
Roman Abromovich for example has Ex-SAS security on board. His owner's cabin has armoured steel plates built around the cabin to withstand missile attacks and the windows are all bullet proof.
He also has a Papparazzi Shield on the ship's on-board camera system. It fires beams of light at other cameras taking photos of the ship to spoil their photos.
These people live in another world altogether.

What is not known to the general public, and likely known to reputable yacht brokers, is that mega-yacht buyers form bogus corporations for the purpose of hiding their assets to further protect their anonymity, real net worth or for tax evasion. Such a shame you weren’t able to have a look at Jubilee and show her off in the stylish manner that you are able to deliver in your vblogs. I agree - I have not heard anyone have a negative thing to say about her external lines. I thought that she looked incredible inside too - especially her beach club that I think is to die for!! If this yacht had a 2nd helipad & a top speed around 26 knots, it would be my favorite mega yacht on Earth because of the additional blue in the exterior color design. Current favorite mega yacht: the "Flying Fox" by Lurssen.
I like that yacht but I like the Oceanco's Cosmos even more, even if it is smaller than that. The glass dome of Cosmos is really breathtaking!

Pity and still very understandable about the owner wanting to keep his private life private. I saw it move through the many places i used to live in Holland and all the prep it takes to move a superyacht. It is, even more, wow in real life.
Lord! That is one glorious looking yacht! Distinctive and graceful. Very classy!
Excellent vlog given that we are unable to experience the real thing, you have whetted our taste buds, so you have to try and follow through (if at all possible).
However what stole the show was "Tuhinga o mua" what a fabulous vessel she looks, will you be keeping us updated with her progress? People talk about radical design other than my perennial favourite "Ragnar", she has to be the most interesting and radiacal yacht in production/pre production.
Looking forward to the next vlog with interest as always.

It would seem this yacht is now owned by Nancy Walton & is called "Kaos," like a bong I had once. Except it's not now owned by Nancy Walton, but its name was spelled KAOS before it broke.

Hi David. I know you read the comments on your videos and i just wanted to ask if you could do a review of the 170 ft motor-sailing yacht Prana by Alloy Yachts. Or the Motor sailer Parsifal III by perini Navi. i know it takes a lot to get videos together (obviously), but I haven't seen many large sailing yachts on your channel and would love to get a more in depth look at Prana.

Hey Dave another fantastic video can i say on a channel called dutch yachting they have a new vessel called Galvas it is absolutely stunning! See if you can get some info on her! Also there is another channel called aquaholics and he has gained 15k subbs in 3 months doing videos on smaller yachts! I asked you a while ago if you could do some vids on boats 50 to 80 feet i really believe it will give you alot of subscribers and spread the wings of your channel! Maybe some fresh content to! That is where the yacht is registered. Bikini is in the Marshall Islands, and Georgetown is in the Cayman Islands. Tax reasons primarily, but also title / ownership reasons, and crew / staffing reasons.

How does seeing a yacht, even its interior, somehow invading privacy? Not that we even know it is your yacht! Not accounting for personal photographs or art you don't want people to know you have, but again, how do we even know you own the yacht. Paranoid!
With that said, this video didn't excite me.
Jubilee is both amazing and annoying simultaneously. I thinks it's the illusion of twice as many decks as it actually has.
