On top of my dream list..... because dreaming doesn't cost anything.
This on my dream & wish list!
You are going places, in every sense of the word.
Thanks for your support 🙌
I think this ship stands alone. Stunning!
Absolutely stunning design
I’d get this yacht. Has everything I’d ever want on a yacht, especially the ability to house a helicopter and a submarine.
I knew who made this yacht just by looking at shape of it, Damon yacht are a beast 🤣
🙌
Lekker man lekker 🇿🇦
🙌
*That’s not a superyacht. That’s a megayacht! And it’s over $500 million to build!*
One Navy vet to another, well done, shipmate! I love your videos. Going to see without the requirement of providing food / lodging / transport to 300 Marines has long been a dream. :-) This vessel in particular really speaks to me, although the size of the lottery win I would need to consider it must be quite substantial. I'd love to see a tour of the inside at some point.
In any event keep up the good work.
Thanks shipmate ⚓️ I appreciate it #bz
Amazing yacht amazing shipyard
I wonder if the guests still get to enjoy this privately. Most guests tend to enjoy chartering because it has that privacy feel, but with 22-29 crew, it may be a bit difficult. This is a beast of a superyacht/megayacht
that's going to be my baby right there
I'll have two haha. Wow, impressive.
Thank you! Great video. Love seeing this yacht visualized
Glad you enjoyed it 🙌 thanks for watching 👍
90 mm of ice. 3 1/2 inches. In the early 70s I served on board a real icebreaker in the Coast Guard and we could do 10 feet plus. 3 1/2 inches in the Arctic or Antarctic no big deal. What happens when you get into, a foot of ice, which is very common?
90cm
Thank u!
You're welcome!
Spectacular but does it have a medical facility and/or operating room on board in the event of an accident?
Great videos. Where is the Arksen 85 walk-through video?
👀
OK, but if I buy one, I want the helicopters included, or no deal 😂
Beautiful!
Very fantastic😊 love it❤
Remarkable ship 🚢 👏 but I still like the classics and conversion of a naval ship.
Me 2 ♥️⛵🌊 ⚓
23 guests plus 29 crew wow.
Share us if u got more about this yacht ⛵🌊♥️
Lovely ship.
Incredible not much more to say 🍻
Fantastic
I am interested in purchasing one. I operate a department within the Pentagon. My personal mission focuses on saving the enviroment and eliminating human & exotic animal trafficking. I was wanting to buy Ragnar, until I seen this particular expedition yacht. Let the negotiations begin.
Work hard play Hard ! Dream very big ! You can't take it with you so spend well !
Great motto 🙌

Amels Damen are amazing quality

Great explore yacht, however to many sea toys to keep track of. (:
R u still working in yacht ⛵🌊 industry?
Negative - I’m former Royal Navy / RNLI
Hi Yacht Buoy, I just discovered your channel! I love it! Just in case more of your viewers have the same interest I will express it here: I am mostly interested in work/live-aboard, long range yachts/vessels for permanent world travel that can be easily operated by one person (myself) without crew. The more autonomous the better (like fully solar powered). The purchase price would also be interesting to know. I have a weak spot for catamarans ;)
Thanks!
Hey, welcome to the channel 🙌 send me an email ( john@yacht-buoy.com) as I have a boat in mind that I think you will love 👍
I'm sure you must be a fan of Silent & Bering yachts... Indeed we have the same interests 😊
Tailored for you: VENDÉE GLOBE BOAT --> "THE CONCEPT OF THE VENDÉE GLOBE IS SIMPLE AND EASY TO UNDERSTAND: YOU HAVE TO SAIL AROUND THE WORLD ALONE WITHOUT STOPPING AND WITHOUT ASSISTANCE. THESE THREE PARAMETERS MAKE THE RACE WHAT IT IS BY ESTABLISHING ITS DNA. THEY ARE CLEARLY LAID OUT IN THE RACE INSTRUCTIONS." The boats of the Vendée Globe all measure 18,28 m long (60 feet) for a 4,50 mdraught. With a large sail area, they are the most powerful monohulls of the planet led by a solo skipper. They can go beyond 30 knots in downwind conditions. The gauge of these race animals is defined by the IMOCA class (International Monohull Open Class Association), founded in 1991 and supported by World Sailing, the International Sailing Federation. A major recasting of the gauge was carried out before the 2016 edition. A standardized keel, a choice between two masts -conventional or wing-mast-, a limited number of appendices and ballasts are now imposed for new boats. The rest is up to the architects. But the biggest novelty was without doubt the addition of foils, these appendices which allow the hull to lift in upwind conditions. This saves a lot of drag (water friction) and allows better performance. The last few editions of the Vendée Globe have shown the effectiveness of the system. In 2020, 19 IMOCAs were equipped with foils.
👍
And how much it's cost?
Price please?
Very nice but that open area on the bow would concern me in heavy seas.
Why does it concern you ?
It's 4 decks high and it's only an observation deck (just the most forward tip of the bow. It's not an open bow at all, if anything it's just more protected than the average bow. It's unlikely any wave would crash over but even if it did there are huge scuppers that would drain it in seconds, there are watertight doors immediately astern of the observation area, there is no concern.
4:49 Where is that?
The biggest one is 125m.....however Damen X-Bow is not a truly Icebreaker
I saw that one like 4 months ago vut haven't seen it again in their site. Also i think the x bow is from ulstein the damen bow is called sea axe or something like that
@@luisalvarezc01 an icebreaker Hull has thicker hull with clearing shape
@@stradivarioushardhiantz5179 according to their description is reinforced, but i didn't talk about the icebreaking capabilities, i talked about the bow name that is from ulstein the damen bow name is sea axe
@@luisalvarezc01 ya...both shipbuilders have their signature products...and that's where the difference between ice rated vs icebreaker
I think you’re looking at the wrong end of the ship for it’s icebreaking capacity,
🤗🥰🎉
Too much isn’t it.
The introvert in me baulked at the thought of 29 crew 🥴
That's why you makes 10 of them strippers and escorts)
Price?
Billionaire toys.
Heck ya, and invite some University Marine Biology department along for some coral reef research a few weeks out of the year and write the whole thing off! :)
A multi Billionaire toy.....the boat alone would probably run you 500 million and tack on another 50-60 million a year for operating costs means you would need multiple billions to own and operate this.
Price sir?
Your guess is as good as mine on this one 💸💸💸💸
M/Y La Datcha from the same shipyard is estimated to be costing about $110 million with a length of 77m. So for this one at 105m you could expect more than double that realisticaly...
Depending on options and interiors I'd put it at between 350 and 500 M US. You better get your order in so you can pick yours up in Bremerhaven in 3 years.
I'll have 2
@@idib1739 well la datcha gt is just 2560 and this one is 6500 i expect it to be at least $350millions and I'm being conservative
SO...HOW MUCH$$
Too small. I want a nuclear powered 150m boat of the same design. I want a pair of Ospreys and a heated hull to melt the ice sheets.
🫡
Complete with Ice breaking stern? 2.00mins
No one person should have that much money 💰
This is why too much boat regardless how much money you have.
What do I think about this amazing vessel you asked? I think I will never be able to afford one.
