Honestly, you're extremely fluid and I appreciate that man! You worked like a 15hour day and still had it in you to film an outro to your video. I respect that and you definitely got a new subscriber here! I will be checking out any trailer build setup videos you have and any advice you give on pricing a job. I'm new to the commercial power washing/ house washing industry and I heavily rely on videos like yours to run my company!! Thank you
It’s good you share the hard times. We all have left what we don’t think we need. Part of the deal. You just helped someone not to be a bonehead like us! Good job today! Nothing feels better than the shower after a long day like you had. On a positive note. You can’t lay your head down tonight feeling satisfied! #WinTheDay
This is crazy, started a pressure washing company, found your videos and this is the fifth video I watched this week. Found out you’re in San Antonio too!!! Cool there’s money out here thank you for showing some game. Excited to get more jobs.
I give you credit you lots of things but the one that I’ll talk about in this post is your positivity. It seems you’re a positive guy and keep chugging forward even when things aren’t going your way. I find it harder to chug through when I’m working by myself. It’s strange, I find hard days easier when I’m working with someone. It’s like we’re going through it together. Sometimes I wonder if the camera is your friend like what I’m talking about and question if maybe it gives you a little pep in your step. As always thanks for the video
Look into the Milwaukee packout. I've the 3 drawer chest and 2 organizers and has everything i need in it. Bolted to the trailer. It's waterproof unless you're using high pressure direct stream of water then it will infiltrate. But works fantastic! Great video as always!
Well this is all the equipment that you need so i would buy that! If you look at my early early videos I have a video called “ the best pressure washing setup for beginners “. It’s my most popular video. That’s basically everything you see in this video.
Next time you have tire marks I use potassium hydroxide flakes. I mix 96 oz of flakes to every gallon of water. It's the same stuff they use on hoods and vents in restaurants I just mix way hotter and downstream it let dwell for 2 to 5 minutes and start surface cleaning.
Found your channel from watching Joe Deery and Powerful Improvements. Great content. I’m in the process of building my first trailer to get started as a side gig. Your trailer looks wicked all lit up at night!
It's always the little things brother.. rigs looking good, gotta love that 🔥 water.. Im watching your video getting little boy(my big truck) ready for a job 6 hrs away, rolling out with a 5 man crew.. 💪... stay grinding 👊....
Hey there Austin, I wash alot of hardscape concrete...next time try SH / surfactant at a hot mix...it will make it look new....zero tire marks even in the busiest drive thru situations.
How would you calculate these mixes if you don’t have that type of rig? Or would you recommend I buy that rig as an absolute beginning. I have the money to buy everything needed (including the truck) my current job pays really well but like everyone on this video, my dream is to have my own business. But I also don’t want to buy the best of the best stuff without having any clients, what are you thoughts?(main question) how do you calculate the mix of solutions without that rig
so on that stone house do you softwash with your 12 volt then rinse with the pressure washer? I thought you rinsed with the 12 volt too but i don’t know much so
Have you run into any issues with commercial jobs requesting water reclamation. I'm finding a lot of commercial jobs afraid of EPA fines for letting water go down storm drain. What's expecting that Jiffy Lube to require a washwater reclamations
what size water tank would you recommend for an 8gpm pressure washer? I'd like to go as small as possible but im guessing ill need at least 200 gallons?
$3680. Awesome. Hearing those kind of numbers justifies the expensive skids and trailers I’ve been looking at. What do you think. Is it better to start with a skid or trailer? I like the idea of a skid, but I don’t love the idea of time my truck up and turning it into a wash truck 100% of the time. I also like the idea of a trailer because it would hold more water have more space wouldn’t tie up my truck, but I could see that being a pain in the butt when doing residential. I’m torn. any advice anyone could share would be great. Thanks.
Hey brother, what size tips are you using on you SC and what size SC you have. Also just curious, after using the f9 or a degreaser, do you post treat afterwards. Great work. You can also use NAPA's aluminum brightener which might be cheaper for the red clay. Nice work
How did you price out the jiffy lube. Also can someone make a video on how to price a roof wash. For example, let’s just say it’s a 2000 square-foot house with an average pitch asphalt shingle roof and you want to be at $.30 per square foot. How do you come up with the actual square footage of the roof? What I have been doing is based on the same example is take 2000 multiply that by 1.2 and then multiply that by $.30, then I add about $75 for chemical. I’m interested to see how other people do it.
Great video btw! Did you use hot water on the whole job? Would cold water have worked? Wondering too have you used an xjet before? I have a gas powered soft wash set up but it's only 5.5hp and would take much longer to put down chems. Wonder if I use an xjet w/my 4gpm PW of that decrease the time of putting down chems esp. On concrete. Any thoughts, suggestions?
@@AustinDavis24 in my early days, i pre wet wood and explained the bleach may clean or change it, even wetting it real good changed/cleaned it lol thank god they were happy with it, been super nervous and careful ever since
That’s one hell of a unit you have . How many years were you doing this when you decided to upgrade and invest in that whole trailer set up? I imagine you were just running things out of the bed of a truck with a rather simple setup before this trailer set up we see here , ya? Thanks in advanced .
What chemical should I use to clean driveways with a 4.2gpm washer and when and how do I use it? All I have right now is a $1000 preditor washer from harbor freight. I work full time as a foreman for a Union Carpenter company but want to start a power washing business for weekend work, I need tips Awsome video, just ran across your videos about to bengwatch them all
This was awesome! Can you do a video breaking down how you allocate funds for upgrading equipment? I am currently making $12-18k in revenue per month and need to upgrade equipment but have to store it all at a storage facility ($500 per month). I’m not sure if it is a good move for me to spend $500-700 per month on equipment financing when I’m about to head into fall/winter season in Washington…
Can you do a video on the actual business side of things? Is your company an LLC? What all do you need to save for taxes and all of that? Washing is great but if you don't keep track of taxes, it will ruin you faster than you wash a house
Do you have a tool box in the truck? I will have all least a small one with my tools because I have seen things go wrong too often. Better luck next time.

So how is a 3 to 4 hour job at Jiffy lube 3K in price.. but a 3 hour job on home is 650? Not saying it to be an ass.. just curious how you come up with the prices.. is it JiffyLube is a large company and can afford and will pay the prices.. or.. you base it on just the size of the area you're washing down + chemicals you'll use? I ask cause I typically think the out of pocket cost for chemicals, gas, etc.. is about the same give or take a little on a 3 to 4 hour job. I can see how the house is smaller in terms of the area you're cleaning, but in terms of water/gas used, hours on the job, etc..
You don’t find 20,000 SQFT of surface work at a normal house. That’s one, two, the chemicals required to get the tires stains off are about $50/Gallon. Plus, commercial I will always charge more. More risk. You got people driving over my hoses in the parking lot. Takes 2-4 weeks to get paid. Just more a pain in the ass
