    It's great that you charge him less, considering he is one of your og customers and also a neighbor. People over profits sometimes is the best way to handle these types of customers. Great job, as always!

      Always got to pay back the ones that took a chance on you! Plus there is nothing like only having to drive 20 seconds to the job.

    What camera and mount do you use for your POV video? I think this is good just for documenting before and after.

    • @PressureWashingPOV
      @PressureWashingPOV  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I use the DJI Action 4 and they sell a neck mount that works well. I’d recommend this camera to anyone who is working outside. After reading reviews of the GoPro overheating I decided to go with the DJI Action 4. I haven’t had any problems with overheating and I’ve filmed up to 6 hours straight.

    Its a backflow preventer. Code requires them most places. They get absolutely welded over time, almost can never remove them without replacing the hose bib itself. They are very frustrating.

    • @PressureWashingPOV
      @PressureWashingPOV  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah I’ve tried getting them off, I feel like I’ll break the hose bib. Thanks for the info though!

    so on a roof wash you don't need to rinse? I just started about 3months ago. I mainly do lawncare/landscaping but I've picked up pressure washing this year. I'm building a truck bed skid.....i always assumed you had to rinse the roof.

    • @PressureWashingPOV
      @PressureWashingPOV  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I was always told there is no need to rinse. You want to minimize how much runoff there is while the product is still in its active state. So letting it stay on the roof until the next rain rinses the product off is how I handle it.

    Hm wondering what you can do with the spicket leaking maybe trying plumbers teflon tape to help it seal up. It would be worth a shot to try it out if it ever happens again in the future.

    • @PressureWashingPOV
      @PressureWashingPOV  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Great idea! When it leaks out like that it slows down how fast the water tank fills, which slows down my work speed so I will definitely try that idea next time I'm dealing with this problem!

      When faucets with those vacuum breakers leak theres nothing you can do except change out the vb as its either worn oring or bad breaker, let a plumber do it after you tell the customer. I use to be a plumber and yhats what we had to do.@PressureWashingPOV

    I carry a pipe wrench and take those restrictors off every house I do. Just be careful you don't turn it too hard and rip the faucet off the house!

    That’s how much you should charge for just the house wash

    • @PressureWashingPOV
      @PressureWashingPOV  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Yeah this definitely isn't how much you should charge for a roof wash and house wash. This guy is one of my very first customers and lives in my neighborhood so I always give him a big discount.

      I need to get better at tracking exact amounts, that's something I want to implement this coming year. If you look at the beginning of the video(0:54) it looks like about 45 gallons in the tank and when the video finishes(2:43:57) it looks like around 25 gallons left in the tank. So it looks like it took me around 20-25 gallons give or take.

    • @EliteAustinServices_MAustin
      @EliteAustinServices_MAustin 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @ that’s what I was thinking not including the little leak you had going on. I need to find a container like that.

    • @PressureWashingPOV
      @PressureWashingPOV  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@EliteAustinServices_MAustin Make sure that it doesn't have bulkhead fittings on the bottom. You only want your fittings on the topside of the tank to avoid any possibility of leaking. www.powerwashstore.com/P/1527/55GallonVerticalPolyTankNo7022

      @ TBH it’s not that irritating, 2 ADs totaling 10-20 seconds needed to wait till hit the skip AD is available… I would make videos under 10 min have an AD at the start and the end. Videos 10min or more 1 AD at the start 1 in the middle and 1 at the end and longer videos and AD at the start and the end of the video, plus an AD every 10-15 maybe 15-20 min an AD comes on
