When I was in college I worked for my father. He died during my junior year. My income ended, and me and my mother became impoverished. I don't want families to experience the hardships of my twenties. I've sold life insurance for almost two decades. This is what I've found: If I have 20 new conversations per day with the goal of setting an appointment, I will eventually earn $2000-$2500 per week. If I have 15 per day I will eventually earn $1000 per week. If it's 10 per day it becomes $500.00. If it's less than that, I make nothing. The more conversations I have the more likely I will find the right people. Activity focuses passion; it's the key.

Emergency A/C and refrigeration repair in the hottest months for both commercial and residential customers is very lucrative. Thawing and repairing frozen water lines at 2am is very lucrative. Along with the septic pumping, these problems can all be considered burning issues. What really gets me is how little we pay our fire fighters, EMS, Law Enforcement, and military. Not to mention our comm center/911 dispatchers. Talk about burning issues at 2am! These people are saints, and I dare say we should almost be ashamed of ourselves when pay raises and working equipment are "just not in the budget this year".

I recently started working on a really big programming project that is probably worth quite a bit of money and while doing this I noticed a lot of things you said here. You got to cut time away from entertainment to find the time and then you gotta believe that you can finish it like you want to do. Just do it, dont dream around and search for excuses! great video!

Good stuff! I have a youtube channel I started 4 months ago and it's growing. In the beginning it took me prob a whole day to do one video, ya kno to actually vid the content, edit, upload, tag and title. But i have been finding ways to cut this time. I have got a new editing software that has literally cut this time in half definately worth the money. Right now I am prob putting 15 hours a week in this, I just hope it pays off! People don't realize how much time goes into making videos and the amount of time spent networking on youtube alone. Antonio Id love if you could give advice on what to do of you live in an economically dead area like i do (southeastern lousiana) theres little in the way of industry here aside from manual labor and simply picking up and moving isnt always an option. so any advice you have would be great
again the area which i live there isnt much in the way of side business to have, everyone pretty much takes care of their own houses and lawns and im currently laid off so i have no options to move, buy equipment etc, and everything i have found online requires skills i dont currently have and cannot aford training or educational material on. i am hoping that the interview i have later in the week pays off because once i have a paycheck again more options do become available as i have funding options for either additional training or moving to a better location however; for the current situation i was wondering what the best options can be. Please everyone dont think im sitting on my ass making excuses theres just literally hardly anything in my area and its not as simple as "start your own business" or"move out" ive been trying to explore both those options and more but am currently stuck due to financial restraint til i have actual income once again to suppliment secondary income attempts
yes ive looked but unfortunately i need a little start up capitol for stuff (ie tools, books to study, etc) and hopefully if i get the job im interviewing for it will be a bit easier as i wont have as many restrictions. thatsthefuel for my original question is what if you are literally stuck like that. and please note im not speaking in atone of anger or frustration or self pity its general advice seeking but im trying to get better advice than the generic"start a business" linesince thats what ive been looking into just dont have the resources for that. Ive looked into possibly investing what little bit i can spare but the payoffs will be negligible and take a long time, ieven looked into driving for uber but i live in an area where youre nearest neighbor is a ten minute drive away and the closest town where the demand would be higher is thirty minutes teherfore again what little i would make via my calculations would break even instead of allow for extra.so yea i aware of all the steps of look for opportunity andfindneeds but so far im stuck and dont know what to do

If you didn't, why don't you try selling insurance policies or benefits from companies that pay remote sales associates to make a few sales a week for them? That can average you about $400 a week, for start, if you do it right, you could earn well over $1,000 a week. This is no bullshit, you do have to put in the work. Probably do a little door to door, before you can earn yourself a good clientele. However, after that, everything should be good for you. Well, I'm hoping. Man Antonio my dad was born 1923, was drafted in WW2, released with mental illness he had a 5th grade education and when I was born he was 50. When I was 4 living on potato peels he went out got Janitorial jobs and always wore three piece suits no matter what he was doing. He had so much business he was able to support 5 different family's of course they had to work some too. So your so right about this I lived it and seen it happen was amazing. In the beginning it took me prob a whole day to do one video, ya kno to actually vid the content, edit, upload, tag and title. But i have been finding ways to cut this time. I have got a new editing software that has literally cut this time in half definately worth the money. Right now I am prob putting 15 hours a week in this, I just hope it pays off! People don't realize how much time goes into making videos and the amount of time spent networking on youtube alone. I have mad respect for anyone with a succesful channel, N I hope to be there one day

again the area which i live there isnt much in the way of side business to have, everyone pretty much takes care of their own houses and lawns and im currently laid off so i have no options to move, buy equipment etc, and everything i have found online requires skills i dont currently have and cannot aford training or educational material on.
i am hoping that the interview i have later in the week pays off because once i have a paycheck again more options do become available as i have funding options for either additional training or moving to a better location

If you didn't, why don't you try selling insurance policies or benefits from companies that pay remote sales associates to make a few sales a week for them? That can average you about $400 a week, for start, if you do it right, you could earn well over $1,000 a week. This is no bullshit, you do have to put in the work. Probably do a little door to door, before you can earn yourself a good clientele. However, after that, everything should be good for you. Well, I'm hoping. Man Antonio my dad was born 1923, was drafted in WW2, released with mental illness he had a 5th grade education and when I was born he was 50. When I was 4 living on potato peels he went out got Janitorial jobs and always wore three piece suits no matter what he was doing. He had so much business he was able to support 5 different family's of course they had to work some too. So your so right about this I lived it and seen it happen was amazing. Reason for suits all his life he was a evangelist.
