once u get into the groove of pretty much using captured tanks and Anti Tank guns (and extensive infantry micro) finland can be pretty ez considering their nice infantry stats.

i love this game, please dont do just this small campaign. id love to see this as the new main series for your channel (although i of course wouldnt mind another war on the sea modded run either). i also really like the finnish setting so i hoope you expand this series

Ah, the quad Maxim AA Truck. Each Maxim, if I remember correctly, had a rate of fire of 600 rpm. That's 2,400 Rounds per minute, very satisfying to use.
Keep the medics in the back and break your infantry into 4-5 man groups, really helps with moving forward, and to hold a victory point you can hide a couple guys in a building so the enemy can't fully capture it in case man power is low.
I'm not used to following your series as they come out, so i'm really itching to see the next episode. Great video wolfpack. That 20mm had a crazy rate of fire, I ended up choking on my coffee when i heard it lol

And the upcoming DLC, omg, looks awesome. Anyway, hope you can shake off those sea-legs and give the soviets some hell. Love your content :)
Just a quick tip, since with finland you usually take a lot of enemy vehicles, get an enemy truck or armored car and use it do drive around and steal enemy guns (like the DPs), ammo and repair kits, it helps a lot with the post battle looting
Oh man goh is good and playing as the finns 😊 tips for the campaign have spotters for longer viewing distance and when in direct control you can press T for MOW style control
This is a great game. Glad you can play it better than I can. Don’t forget you can loot bodies so that flamethrower could have been coming with you to the next game :)
Little side note of history, look up the Finnish Air Forces logo from this period. Was very surprised when I visited a Finnish Air Museum and walked in to see a 3m banner hanging on the wall.
@Wolfpack345 remember to always scavenge enemy corpses for their guns to get better equipment for your troops, not needing to spent points in new squads.
Just finished a medium size campaign with the finnish and i would suggest you to invest in at least a 80mm mortar because the 50mm has an unusable range, and also armored cars are basically useless, the soviets bring a lot of those while they attack so you can steal them in large numbers, the best investment of points is either the artillery and AT cannons tree or the tank line, and don't forget to bring a AA piece or 2 with you, they like quite a lot to bomb while you are defending even at the early stages Edit: Your videos are always quality content👍
If you’re interested in squad based RTS games…might I suggest Iron Harvest 1920+? It’s more of an alternate history/sci-fi game than a hardcore historical game, but’s the world-building is top notch and it’s pretty fun!
God the Finish heavy engineers are amazing, simply because they can build the costal battery… which is a heavy aa/at, that being said the FT is so slow it is better off just unlocking the next tank in tree and buying that
Hey man! Love this video, hope you make a full series. Couple of things however, light infantry guns are vastly superior to mortars for indirect support and check out the Conquest Enhanced mod for this game. Adds a lot of complexity to Conquest and also makes it pretty darn hard to beat the AI.
Wolfie - please play this game more. I love the 20mm, Hella powerful. IMO, you should dedicate a squad of infantry to it for protection. If the Soviets run with a T-34 or KV-1 you’re in deep trouble. Can your infantry use Molotov cocktails? If so, if placed correctly, very useful for fighting armor when you don’t have the right AP guns. The German Pak-36, 37mm could be made deadly against any WWII armor believe it not by using a specially developed shape charge round called “Stielgranate 41”. Unfortunately for the Germans these rounds were few and far between, but they sure worked and at just about any range because it was a shape charge and velocity was secondary. The Germans nicknamed the Pak-36 the Heeresanklopfgerät (Army door knocking device) given its inability to penetrate heavy armor (unless using Stielgranate 41).
Glad to see the Finnish, they are a pretty overlooked and underrated force of WWII.
They should make a dlc on Pacific War or the War in Burma, Commonwealth troops vs Japanese troops, that theatre of war is overlooked as well.
As a faction in games I remember them only from forgotten hope 2.
They're not. Everyone is talking about Finnish. Poland and Yugoslavia or Hungary and Romania. These are overlooked and underrated forces.

irl the VKT (nickname was Vekotin (gadget)) had a max fire rate of 2x700 rpm, though the practical fire rate was 2x250 rpm
