This game has so many mechanics its insane. On the top left tab that has those 4 or 5 boxes click the cube one and it toggles a view to show all guns and emplacements you can pick up

Being Finnish, I am actually impressed about the voicelines for the troops. I remember playing Sudden Strike IV and the Finnish voices were just bad. I definitely have to add this game to my Steam wishlists and buy it when I have the money.

The MG on the FT-17 was an 8mm Hotchkiss Mle 1914, not a Maxim btw. You can tell because it's got a gas tube under the barrel (the maxim was recoil operated.)
You can sell captured vehicles that you recovered from the battlefield in the unit selection menu. It's a good way to get a little extra cash, and costs next to nothing because it only takes 1 repair kit to bring a vehicle back to life *juuust* enough to enter it so that the game considers it 'yours'. For some reason a barely functional derelict with no crew sells for the same amount of cash as a fully crewed, fully operational tank...* *This works for artillery guns, AT guns, trucks, armored cars, MGs, really anything that infantry can repair and enter after the fighting is over.
loving this new series. when this is done id love to see if they have a longer campaign for some of the smaller powers of the war since they're almost never mentioned. maybe romania or italian campaign in the soviet union?
If you have problems with ammunition, you can use resupply vics/boxes during battle to fully resupply your troops. It costs less to resupply these, especially later when you get tanks.

With the bino’s, officer can see much further than regular troops and can therefore spot danger earlier. - you can assign units to numbers on your keyboard. Making it a bit easier to micromanage. - I’d invest in a ammotruck asap. The current crate you have is very barebones but also trucks can haul your emplaced guns. - since a recent update you can now rightclick units behind cover but keep dragging the mouse and it spreads them out. That’s it, good luck
in the bottom left to the right of the 3P button there'll be numbers that show the infantry and vehicle kills, you couldve checked the mortar's efficiency that way when you finish the game (17:05) you can see some stats in the top left tabs too
Very nicely done :), I would have taken the T20 because it is good for towing guns and can also use the front machine gun. In my opinion, the Ft 17 with MG is a real botch, in research I would have made a point for the ammunition truck because then you have more ammo and are faster.
When ABDACOM ended, I wished for a finland series, I was expecting it being IL-2 game but this is just as awesome and amazing! Keep up with the good work, keep the reds bleeding

Also, I would highly recommend not using that mortar. They are so inaccurate and burn through so much ammo. The field guns and AA cannons are so much more efficient
and you might have been able to recrew it and used the turret also most tanks come with repair kits in their inventory (at least in men at war assault squad 2 witch this is a sequel to) also many of the different infantry types in a squad have different things in there inventory also remember to go to ground to not get shot in the head and manual control helps a lot
man the airplane turrets? heck no, it would be better to remove the guns from the turrets if possible. This way you keep the guns and can move them where you want them

The AI seems hyper realistic: mindlessly sending waves of infantry to certain death in frontal assaults. Textbook soviet doctrine!

Very nice. The Soviets caught you napping, but you recovered nicely. Very smart to only defend one area as they were way too far apart.
