    Nice one, im going to try some angle iron in the middle so it rocks over giving you 2 sizes, one at each end, hopefully. good job, made it look easy.

    The man that taught me said never throw away anything. You save the old shoes to make things.
    I’ve made a lot of belt buckles, book ends, bridle/hat racks. Even paper weights by tying a horse shoe into a knot. Anything for beer money😂.
    Those St Croix shoes, are they cold rolled, can you shape them cold or do they need to be heated to shape?

    I wish there were better camera angles showing how you did the blacksmith part of changing the shape of the shoe to fit the back of a boot

      Looks like you got two pins on the side of your angle and you hammered against them

      The trip I made to Afghanistan a decade or so ago, was the start of my back problems. Seems the Taliban don't care for a farrier to have a good back. lol -TE
