Howdy, Lots of times I just use a rock or my fencing pliers to get the job done. If I am with someone else and they have fencing pliers I can use one pair as the block and the other as the hammer. To cut of the ends of the nail off before bending them, I just use the fence pliers. They are a little long but it is just good enough until I make it back to home. Same principle as having a doughnut spare tire on your vehicle after a blow out. I hope this helps you out. Thanks for watching and asking a question. All nice ways to store nails . Just curious, how do you hammer and clinch your nails out in the field?
