Any video for the roof rack from CA to UT? How was it? I have a long commute on daily basis. I'd like to have the bike rack installed. I ride the bike during lunch break.
It’s pretty good. The rack itself isn’t noticeable. With the bike on it my efficiency definitely went down, but I was still in the 300-350wh/m range on the highway. And driving with the bike on feels the same as without. Just a bit more wind noise.
+1 for the Yakima rack! I’ve used it countless times on our Chevy sonic and excited to hear your experience with it on the model 3 is great! I’ll be taking delivery in a month or so and have been searching for someone using it on a model 3! Do you usually have to stand on the door sill to get it up there or is it low enough to just plop it up there?
Okay, maybe this just me, but why would you want to hang your groceries? That seems like a very insecure way to store your items. I’d imagine things would spill, or the bag would tear. I’ve seen people hook items to side hooks to secure things, but I’ve never seen anyone hang groceries like this. The only thing close that comes to mind is people hanging dry cleaned clothes on the passenger side hook. Somebody please explain what I’ve been missing out on.
NICE VID!

That way they don’t tumble around when driving. It’s not so much hanging, but securing. Most bags touch the floor and don’t actually hang.
@@mattgonzalez oh okay. If they’re touching the floor then that makes sense.
Best mats!!!
